Audi dealerships near me (South Orange, NJ)

overall experience was OK, not great. Communication was goo, they got back to me very quickly. The vehicle was still available when I booked appointment for test drive. The pricing was confusing. It was listed at one price, while talking with the dealer, he mentioned that the price had just dropped by $1,000. but he did'n apply the new lower price. The financing process ws very confusing and a bit questionable. The actual physical building of pre-owned cars was dirty, parking lot was very crowed and concerns of backing out hitting other cars on the way in or out of parking lot.

Very straightforward. And offered to drive my car to my house and top it off for me. Great staff.

Allen Mercedes (ironic name at Audi) was very helpful and attentive. He gets an A+. Hamad, the finance manager successfully sold me on a few add-ons that I don't normally purchase, but hey, it was my decision and not high pressure. All good all around. The car was ready and clean. It did take a bit longer to go through the paperwork than I had expected.

The dealership has absolutely horrible communication. I was in talks with somebody regarding a car and then they just went silent. I would reach back out and then after two days, they would respond back with a sentence and then go silent again. Horrible car, buying experience and horrible communication… And the car I was looking at is actually still available currently… Ridiculous!

Dealership knew I was traveling 2 hours away and did not disclose that vehicle was having transmission problems, staff acted as though they were not aware of issue with transmission and when confronted with listing online not disclosing such they argued that it was, and it is still NOT listed that it does not stay in gear while driving.

The sales specialist was professional in their follow-up, but the initial coordination was poor. I traveled from out of town for a confirmed appointment, only to have the car sold to someone else while I was en route. By the time they notified me it was available again, I had already moved on to another dealership. A disappointing experience due to what they called a "system error."
