Redesigned last year, the Infiniti QX80 is a full-size, three-row, body-on-frame SUV that competes with other luxury models such as the Cadillac Escalade, the Lincoln Navigator, the Mercedes-Benz GLS, and the Lexus LX. The 2026 Infiniti QX80 comes in four trim levels: Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Autograph.

What’s New for the 2026 Infiniti QX80
The Infiniti QX80 was redesigned for 2025, so the 2026 model is essentially a carryover. However, Infiniti has dropped the Sensory trim for this model year and added a new Sport model with a new front grille, a restyled front bumper, unique 22-inch wheels, dark interior and exterior trim accents, a new blue-and-black two-tone interior, and unique seat patterns.
Design
The 2026 Infiniti QX80 features a bold, in-your-face design with an upright stance and a large, forward-leaning grille. But the aggressive styling is tempered by elegant finishing touches, including a floating roof, multi-element LED daytime running lights, an illuminated Infiniti emblem, and flush door handles. The standard wheels on this full-size SUV are 20 inches, with 22-inch wheels being standard on the Luxe trim. There are no appearance packages available, but some trims offer an exterior package that includes bumper protectors and roof rail crossbars.
Powertrain
The 2026 Infiniti QX80 comes with rear-wheel drive (RWD) on the base Pure and Luxe trims, but all-wheel drive (AWD) is available and becomes standard starting with the Sport trim. Infiniti ditched the V8 powertrain with the 2025 redesign, and the only engine available on the QX80 is the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that delivers 450 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 8,500, which is competitive for the class and, as you would expect from an SUV of this size, fuel economy isn’t exceptional. The EPA estimates it will get 16 mpg in the city and 19 to 20 mpg on the highway, depending on the drivetrain.

Interior
The interior of the 2026 Infiniti QX80 balances a high-tech look with premium materials. Synthetic leather is the standard seating surface, with various leather options available as you walk up the trim levels. The QX80 seats seven passengers in all guises, but the Pure and Luxe trims offer an optional split-bench seat that ups seating capacity to eight. A first- and second-row moonroof is standard on all trims with a power-operated sunshade. The QX80 has competitive cargo space with 22 cubic feet behind the second row and a maximum capacity of 101 cubic feet, although some rivals, such as the Navigator and Escalade, offer more space.
Technology
A large, dual 14.3-inch display setup is the focal point of the 2026 Infiniti QX80's dash, lending the interior a high-tech feel. The digital cluster is configurable, and the touchscreen infotainment system is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google built-in. Other standard tech features include a wireless phone charger, Infiniti InTouch connected services with a three-year free trial, eight USB ports, speed-sensitive active sound enhancement, and a 14-speaker Klipsch audio system. Available features include a 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system, a 120-volt household outlet, biometric cooling, highway-capable hands-free driving with ProPilot Assist 2.1, massaging seats, and ambient lighting.
Safety
As you would expect from a flagship luxury SUV, the 2026 Infiniti QX80 has a lot of standard safety features. These include forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, blind-spot monitors, 360-degree camera views, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and a rear camera mirror. That doesn’t leave a lot in the way of available features, but there are a couple, including a front and rear dash cam and an in-cabin camera. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gives the 2026 QX80 Good crashworthiness and crash-avoidance scores, and awarded it a 2025 Top Safety Pick+. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has not yet crash tested the redesigned QX80.

Pricing and Release Date

Adding AWD to either model increases the price by $3,100. The Sport with standard AWD starts at $104,835, the top-tier Autograph at $114,385, and prices include a $2,190 destination charge. Premium paint options range from $205 to $1,205, depending on trim and treatment. The top three trims also offer wheel options for $2,156.
