What’s New for the 2025 Subaru Impreza
The Subaru Impreza is largely unchanged for the 2025 model year. It is one year removed from a 2024 redesign that streamlined the lineup down to just the hatchback, eliminating the sedan body style.
Design
The 2025 Impreza is offered in Standard, Sport, and RS trims. The Base trim includes 16-inch steel wheels, with optional 16-inch alloy wheels. The Sport and RS trims include 18-inch dark gray alloy wheels. The RS also adds black exterior accents and RS-specific badging.
Powertrain
The Base and Sport trims come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 152 horsepower, while the RS features a 2.5-liter engine delivering 182 horsepower. All trims come with AWD. Power is routed through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). In the Sport and RS trims, this CVT includes a manual mode. Fuel economy ranges from 27 mpg city, 34 highway, and 30 combined for the 2.0-L to 26 city, 33 highway, and 29 combined for the 2.5-L.

Interior
The Base trim of the 2025 Impreza includes cloth upholstery and manual front seats. The Sport adds premium black cloth with red stitching and heated front seats. The RS features exclusive upholstery with red accents and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Impreza offers 20.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 56 cubic feet with the seats folded down.
Technology
The Base trim features dual 7-inch touchscreens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Sport and RS trims feature an 11.6-inch central touchscreen, as well as wireless smartphone connectivity. The RS trim also offers an optional Harman Kardon 10-speaker system and wireless device charging.
Safety
The 2025 Impreza comes equipped with Subaru’s EyeSight suite of driver-assist technology, which includes forward automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. It’s available with features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2025 Impreza received a 5-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Pricing and Release Date
As of this writing, the 2025 Subaru Impreza starts at $23,495 for the Base trim, $25,495 for the Sport, and $28,385 for the RS. The 2025 Impreza is available in dealerships now.
