The Porsche Cayenne Coupe is a sleek, less-practical version of the Cayenne midsize luxury SUV. The slick, sloped roofline is captivating, though it compromises practicality. Competitors include the BMW X5, the Audi Q7, and the Genesis GV80.

What’s New for the 2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe
For 2025, the Porsche Cayenne lineup, including the Coupe, gets a new GTS trim level that slots just below the top Turbo GT trim. The Cayenne continues to be available in Coupe form across the rest of the lineup, and in fact, is the only way to obtain the aforementioned Turbo GT. This crossover SUV offers upscale family transport in its base form and track-worthy performance at the top end, with plenty of available comfort and convenience upgrades on the options menu. There are also E-Hybrid plug-in hybrid models, which we review separately.
Design
For the Cayenne Coupe, Porsche builds on the familiar, traditional design of the Cayenne with a sloped roofline that lends a sleeker, more distinctive look. It’s not unique, as plenty of other automakers—particularly other German brands—have offered coupe-inspired variations of their crossovers and SUVs for some time. The Cayenne Coupe features standard matrix LED headlights, and 20-inch wheels. Options include 21- and 22-inch wheel designs.
Powertrain
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe comes standard with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission across the lineup, though a variety of powertrains is available. The base Cayenne Coupe features a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine rated for 348 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. Moving up from there, Porsche offers three different versions of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Ratings check in at 468hp and 442 lb-ft, 493 hp and 486 lb-ft, or 650hp and 626 lb-ft. The latter, found in the top Turbo GT, is capable of a 3.1-second 0-60 mph run.

Interior
The central focal point of the Cayenne Coupe’s cabin is the vast expanse of digital real estate. Thusly equipped, there are three separate displays spanning the dashboard, giving this classically styled luxury vehicle some modern and upscale touches. It seats just four passengers, and standard features include synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Upgrades include genuine leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, massaging front seats, and heated and ventilated rear seats. The Cayenne Coupe has just 20.9 cubic feet of cargo space, due to the sporty sloped roofline.
Technology
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 12.6-inch configurable digital instrument cluster with a curved display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability, wireless charging, voice recognition, and a 10-speaker stereo. It’s available with a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen with a filter to prevent the driver from being distracted. Other options include a second-row infotainment system and a choice of Bose or Burmester premium audio systems.
Safety
The Porsche Cayenne comes standard with a rearview camera, a surround-view camera system, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-change assist, front and rear parking sensors, park assist, and traffic-sign recognition. Options include adaptive cruise control, an advanced adaptive cruise control system with stop-and-go capability, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitors, a night-vision camera system, remote parking, and a semi-automated highway driving system. The 2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe had not been crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) at the time of writing, and as a luxury vehicle that sells in low volumes, it’s unlikely that such test results will be published.
