2025 Honda Accord Preview - summary

What’s New for the 2025 Honda Accord

For 2025, the SE trim takes the place of the previous EX model, showcasing a sleek, blacked-out appearance. New standard features across the lineup include rear-seat USB-C ports and rear climate vents, and heated front seats are now included on the Sport trim. Hybrid versions now come with a wireless charging pad, and the Touring trim adds a heated steering wheel as standard equipment.

Design

The Accord has a strong, clean design and a conventional sedan profile. It's offered in LX, SE, Sport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid trims. The LX comes with 17-inch alloy wheels. The new SE trim has black 17-inch alloy wheels, black window trim, and black door mirrors. The Sport and Sport-L trims feature 19-inch alloy wheels, and the EX-L trim features 17-inch alloy wheels. The Touring trim has 19-inch alloy wheels.

Powertrain

The 2025 Honda Accord LX and SE trims come standard with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. It puts out 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. The Sport, EX-L, and Touring are hybrid trims, which come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that works with an electric motor to make a combined 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. Both engines route power to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission.

The most efficient version of the 2025 Accord is (unsurprisingly) one with the hybrid powertrain, but specifically the EX-L trim. It returns 51 mpg city, 44 mpg city, and 48 combined. Other trims of the hybrid returns 46 mpg city, 41 highway, and 44 combined. The base engine returns 29 mpg city, 37 highway, 32 and combined.
