Audi’s electric car lineup is impressive and has continued growing. In 2025, the automaker introduced the new S e-tron GT, an impressively powerful car sharing some of its components with the Porsche Taycan. Offered in three trims, the car delivers blistering acceleration while maintaining strong range estimates. That said, the car is exceedingly expensive to start, and top configurations reach deep into the Taycan’s price range without the prestige that the Porsche badge brings to the table.

What’s New for the 2025 Audi S e-tron GT
As an all-new model, there are no updates to the 2025 Audi S e-tron GT. The standard e-tron GT received an upgraded battery with longer available range numbers, better performance, and new trim levels.
Design
The Audi S e-tron GT features a swept-back shape with almost coupe-like body. While it lacks a grille, the car has aggressive lower air intakes and deeply sculpted sides that give it a strong curb presence. As is tradition, Audi offers a range of wheel options, including exclusive designs limited to appearance packages. The standard car is available with wheels up to 21 inches in size.
Powertrain
The S e-tron GT features an 800-volt electrical architecture and a 105-kWh battery. Its two electric motors produce 670 horsepower, which reaches all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system and a two-speed transmission. The car promises a 3.3-second 0-60 mph time and up to 300 miles of range with 20-inch wheels equipped. Thanks to its advanced electrical system, the Audi can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes on a DC fast charger at speeds of up to 320 kW. A more powerful RS e-tron GT is available, offering 912 horsepower and a 2.4-second 0-60 mph time.
Interior
Synthetic leather and suede upholstery is standard, along with heated front seats, three-person rear bench seating, power-adjustable seats and steering wheel, three-zone automatic climate controls, and a panoramic fixed glass roof. Higher trims add microfiber upholstery, unique interior accents, sport seats, and ventilation/massage for the front seats.
Technology
Audi equips a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM radio, HD radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and more. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is also standard, running Audi’s excellent Digital Cockpit system. The configurable display offers views for maps and navigation, vehicle performance, audio and entertainment, and more. A Bang and Olufsen e3D sound system is also standard, and higher trims are available with upgraded stereo options.
Safety
The brand-new S e-tron GT hasn’t been around long enough to receive crash-test results from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Standard safety features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control with lane guidance.

Pricing and Release Date
As of the time of this writing, the 2025 Audi S e-tron GT starts at $126,795, which includes a $1,295 destination fee. The top Exclusive Edition Quattro trim costs $155,595 to start, which includes a mandatory $7,900 charge for an Audi Exclusive paint color.
