2025 Audi RS e-tron GT Preview - summary

What’s New for the 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT

New for 2025 is the RS e-tron GT performance model, an even more extreme derivative and Audi’s halo electric performance car. Thanks to a host of upgrades to the electric motors, battery, and the chassis, the RS e-tron GT delivers supercar-rivaling performance. A new color, Bedford Green, is also available specific for the latest RS performance variant.

Design

Exterior changes are relatively minor, the RS e-tron GT gets updated front and rear fascias, new wheel wheel designs and four new exterior colors. An optional Forged Carbon Package adds exclusive forged carbon elements, a first for Audi. These carbon elements are used in the front bumper, side skirts, mirrors and rear diffuser. Thanks to the unique construction of forged carbon, no two pieces are exactly alike, resulting in wholly unique pieces.

Powertrain

The 2025 RS e-tron GT now produces up to 912 horsepower thanks to two electric motors driving all four wheels. With launch control activated, the RS e-tron GT sprints to 60 miles per hour in 2.4 seconds from a standstill. A new “push-to-pass” function gives the driver a 70-kW boost for 10 seconds when activated. The battery pack gets an updated cell chemistry to help the RS e-tron GT deliver more power. A new cooling system allows even faster charging speeds, up to 320kW, allowing the RS e-tron GT to charge from 10 to 80% in only 18 minutes under ideal conditions.

Interior

The new standard interior package replaces metallic trim pieces like the regen paddles, steering wheel inlays, and vehicle key with a darker, sportier Vanadium hue. As a tribute to the 1994 RS 2 Avant, the RS e-tron GT performance gets a white Power Meter and speedometer as a special digital feature. The all-new glass roof is now available, and gets a unique transparency control that allows seamless adjustability of nine segments, from slightly tinted to fully frosted.

Technology

Minimum 50 words including screens, connectivity, audio, any cool features

Inside, the standard 10.1 inch infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is paired to a powerful 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with 3D Sound. Drivers can also control the vehicle sound, re-enhanced for the 2025 RS e-tron GT Performance. This dynamic sound experience is based on data from the position of the accelerator pedal, to the speed of the electric motors and the vehicle, and other parameters.

Safety

A wide range of safety and driver-assistance systems are standard on the 2025 e-tron GT performance. Included are a top view 360-degree camera system, Audi Pre-Sense front and rear sensors with cross-traffic alter, and adaptive cruise control with lane guidance to maintain the distance to the car in front while keeping you centered in your lane.
