What’s New for the 2024 Audi S4
The 2024 Audi S4 now includes new standard features, including a heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist. The S4 now comes equipped with remote start via the MyAudi app. New paint options include Arkona White and Progressive Red.
Design
The Audi S4 is based on the refined A4 but with a sportier driving experience. It visually indicates this with a larger grille, more prominent lower grille vents, and unique 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer performance tires. A Black Optics package is available that adds unique dark 19-inch alloy wheels, a blacked-out grille with a black Audi badge, a black rear spoiler, and other black exterior details.
Powertrain
Under the sculpted hood of the S4, a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine makes 349 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It routes power to an eight-speed automatic transmission through Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). It can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds on the way to a top speed of 155 mph. The S Sport package is available on the Premium Plus and Prestige trims and adds red brake calipers, a sport rear differential, and a sport adaptive damping suspension.
EPA fuel economy estimates for the 2024 Audi S4 are 21 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined. This powertrain requires premium fuel.
Interior
Trims for the Audi S4 are Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Standard features in the Premium include sport leather seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, and ambient LED cabin lighting. The S4 provides 12 cubic feet of trunk space.
Technology
The S4 comes with an easy-to-use 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto. It also comes with two USB ports and a 10-speaker stereo system. Available tech features include additional rear USB ports, wireless device charging, a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system, and a fully digital instrument panel.
Safety
The 2024 Audi S4 comes standard with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, and traffic jam assist, which maintains vehicle speed and lane position in traffic. The S4 also comes with Audi Pre Sense Basic, which rolls up windows and tightens seat belts if an impending collision is detected.
Available driver-assistance features include traffic-sign recognition, a 360-degree parking camera system, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, parking assist, and a head-up display. The S4 is also available with a Vehicle exit warning system that alerts passengers to oncoming traffic when attempting to open the doors.
Pricing and Release Date
At the time of this writing, the 2024 Audi S4 is on sale with a base MSRP of $54,500 for the Premium trim. The Premium Plus has a base MSRP of $57,500 and the range-topping Prestige starts at $61,800. The Convenience Package adds $1,400 to the price of the Premium trim. On the Premium Plus trim, the Warm Weather Package adds $700, the Black Optics Package adds $1,000 and the S Sport Back adds $2,500. The Audi S4 is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile warranty.
