So Far This Car Is A Pleasure To Drive. — I just bought the car in march of 2015, so the driving experience is still a work in progress. There is a lot of electronics on board, so I'm still learning. I feel very much in control and safe while driving. The only drawback is waiting for the first scratch or dent in my new car.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Handles very good with AWD. A very quiet ride. The new cruise control is excellent.

Cons: The eyesight warning prompts could be louder. The car is to new to know anything else.

Extreme Disappointment - Atrocious Quality; First Time Subaru Buyer — Purchased Brand new 2015 Legacy 3.6R - Dec 2014. Major Safety and Quality Issues - Awful. Whomever is in charge of Quality at Subaru should be fired. 1. Burning smell from engine & snow water entering engine bay – Discovered snow/water entering engine bay/compartment while driving in snow. Serious safety risk; water all over electrical components. Contacted Subaru of America no response yet. Filed N.H.T.S.A. complaint. 2. Water leak in foot well of cabin. 3. Starting issue –numerous time required 4-5 seconds for the engine to crank / turn over…finally started. Dealer replaced fuse relays per TSB 4. Display – frozen numerous times – Dealer replaced fuse relays per TSB 5. Fuel Filter door froze 3 x, unable to open; Dealer fixed per TSB. 6. Awful wind noise driving above 40mph. Door /window moldings replaced on all doors – and 2 front triangle windows replaced by dealer per TSB. Vendor made faulty moldings and glass. 7. Moonroof - above 60 mph moonroof whistles loud – seal issue like door. Exterior moonroof's black 'seal / molding' towards back near center dome light, is raised up above the sheet metal…not aligned/flush – adjusted by dealer 8. Lumbar - when pressed to ‘increase’ lumbar, it only enlarges on the left side of the seat back only, then when you press decrease it shifts to right side and almost even outs then goes flat. Dealer inspected and found defective seat from factory; parts on order.

Pros: The safety and quality issues I have endured outweigh any positive features I originally thought.

    Cons: Horrendous Quality and Safety

Wow — Had the 2013 Legacy 2.4L and I was satisfied overall, but I was annoyed by a few things, mainly the lack of power when cold. So when I got my 2015 in August I went straight to 3.6L. Wow, absolutely no more power concern :), and they fixed all the small nuisances I had with the previous model. I already have over 5000 km on it and so far I have averaged 9.7L/100km, about 60% of the distance being highway at 120-140km/hr. The mileage is similar to my 2013 Legacy 2.4 so I am happy with it. Comfort and handling are fantastic. The trunk is not very deep because of the AWD differential. I have to struggle to find defects but here they are: the fan doesn't have a windshield only setting (it has windshield + feet); sometimes when I answer my phone it does not go to the in-car-system and I have to speak directly on the phone (which is punishable in Ontario). Overall it is a fantastic car and we are considering getting a second one for my wife! I would not touch a 2.4L Legacy or Outback, mainly because of the poor response of the transmission CVT, but the 3.6......OMG!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: handling, power, comfort, instruments

Cons: small trunk (AWD!), media connection

Sexy — I just purchased the 2015 Legacy 2.5i with black cloth interior, winter package and a dealer package. The reviews say it looks plain but I love its classic looks. I test drove the 2015 impreza (sucks), seen the sti and wrx (ugly) and decided on the legacy which is much roomier, quiet, and better looking. Theres more power and better mileage than the 2013-2014 model too! Not to mention decreased cabin noise. after 2,000 miles im still loving it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 36 mpg, plenty of N/A power, quiet, way better looking than the WRX or STI! Heated seats

Cons: keep your eye on the speedometer, has a tendency to just go right to 80 on the highway without you knowing
