For a 10 year old car it seems to be in very good condition. 78,000 on it now and hoping to take it to 170,000!! I owned a 2006 Saab convertible and loved it. When Saab went under it was very disappointing. Volvo should have bought them for their excellent technology!

Awesome!!! — I love this car because it looks great and is powerful. It is especially great for those who want to stand out from the crowd and not drive a run of the mill luxury vehicles like a mercedes or bmw.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: XWD

Cons: Gas Mileage

Excellent — The fit and finish of this Saab are excellent. Saab is an stealth entry into the 3 series competition at a very competitive price. All the features you expect to find in a luxury performance sedan. Quick acceleration to 60 and quicker stops. The car handles well goes where it is pointed without complaints. Really fun to drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks, Handling, Price

Cons: limited back seat room as with all 3 series type vehicles.

Really Nice Car — We discovered after Saab went bankrupt that a lot of cars sat at the ports until the courts settled the bankruptcy. In Sept 2012 the cars were some of the prior Saab dealers. As such, I picked this up with 6 mi. for almost 1/2 new sticker. After over a year it has 7000 mi. and my wife loves it. As with my other Saabs, they are comfortable, fun to drive and the XWD is a nice benefit especially in the wintering conditions.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: All wheel drive, comfort and MPGs

Cons: Could use a little more power

Perfect Design And Trim — The design, the look and the feel of it is great. It has that classic Saab design which is a big +, but then the material were cheaply built by GM which says not so much engineering thoughts were put into building the car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Love the Saab unique signature designs for inside and outside

Cons: My 01 Audi a4 had more features than a 2011 Saab Though they both mid luxury.. And it was built cheaply, thanks to GM, that's why they dont make them anymore.

An All Around Good Cruiser For Worry Free Motoring — I traded my 2010 AERO Sportcombi in on Coco due to the demise of SAAB and wanting to fulfill my dream of a SAAB convertible. All in all she has performed well and is stylish and roomy for two passengers. This is my third SAAB of the current 9-3 breed and expect the same bullet proof reliability and good gas mileage of the previous stable.

Pros: Rare Java Metallic and the last SAAB since the brand has vanished. This car is a cruiser. I opted for a base model with the standard rims and tires since my previous 9-3 AERO had a punishing ride. The leather and the seats are the best in the business. Performance is a bit slower than my AERO but still has the turbo thrust when needed. Visibility is decent for a convertible.

Cons: The backseat is completely useless. I have read for a convertible, this model has more space but unless you have a toddler, this is a single or couples only car. I also was miffed to see that they did not clearcoat the underside of the trunk lid. In addition, the car retains the door handles and floor mats of 2007 and prior. Probably a GM cost cutting measure. The ride is jiggly even for a convertible.

2011 Saab 9-3 XWD Review
European says:
An excellent daily driver or family car. Has plenty of cargo space for trips with the family. The XWD (All-wheel drive) system works amazingly and gets this car through spots an SUV could only dream of! Great value for this size car and entry level luxury trim options.

2011 Saab 9-3 Aero XWD Review
European says:
An excellent sporty sedan with all-wheel drive that is unstoppable in poor weather conditions. Maintenance may be a little more costly than a FWD version or a base level - but the overall performance and agility is well worth the price!
