I love New Beetles. My first one was the 1998 model and it was white. My husband wanted to to get the new body style, but I don't like it. Nice for small family and pets. The trunk hold much more than you would imagine.Sep 20, 2014

Can't Turn Key in the Ignition Switch OFTEN---
I just purchased a 2010 Beetle a month ago. The car is adorable. I've always wanted to drive a Beetle but now I hate I!!! I sit in my smoldering car in 90 degree heat UNABLE to turn the key in the ignition. Yes, I have jiggled the steering wheel forcibly, turned the wheel gently, talked to the key and even begged it to turn! Still nothing happens-- except I keep sweating and hating the car. I hate VW as a company now. Does anyone out there know how to solve the problem before I just sell this frustrating but adorable car???

My driver door lock was repaired by dealer and now I cannot get the window to go up or down. Which means by convertible is stuck and will not go back up. I tried over riding it which did not work. Next question is the lock connected to the regulator and motor
