Same or better than a 4 runner. Never had any issues. Change the oil. Brakes and tires when needed. I’ve owned 3 Sequoias from the 2001-2007 range.

Very concerned about the common problem with the VSC light and random engine shutdown. Reportedly a $3000 repair. No recall for 07/08 by Toyota.

My Favorite Suv Ever — I've had this Sequoia for almost eight years, and it is a wonderful car. We call it the "school bus" because we used it to get the whole crew of carpool kids to school. Plus, it's way cooler than a minivan!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Wonderful Toyota fit and finish. Superb quality. Excellent instrument layout. Great for mid-to-light towing. Fabulously comfortable. Quiet.

Cons: Gas mileage.

Sequoia! — Great vehicle. Have had other Toyotas in the past and this Sequoia has been another wonderful vehicle. No mechanical problems. Only normal maintenance performed. Only negative would be poor gas mileage. Plenty of power for towing and lots of cargo room.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great in the snow, very quiet interior, good power.

Cons: Poor gas mileage

Big Car, For Big Family — Had this toyota sequoia. Really nice for big families. And large cargo trunk allows to easily move boxes also. NNot too much fuel consumption and seats are much good organized. Good leg space for each row. Maintenance cost is not too much

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good car

Cons: Nothing so far

Toyotas Rock — For a Large SUV it has great GIDDY UP!! :) Lots of room (seating for 7-8) Plus cargo. Leather, seat warmer, sunroof, all the bells and whistles. PLUS I got the last of that body style (not as crazy abou the 08 model body). It is fun to drive and sits up like " Queen of the road" - Like I need any help there.

Pros: Well built and hold their value

Cons: ??? For REAL???

Great SUV. I regret selling it. I just wanted to get into a smaller car with all wheel drive.
