The top-of-the-line 2007 Chrysler 300 Touring Signature Series sedan adds two-tone leather upholstery, a 6-speaker Boston Acoustics sound system, satellite radio, and a navigation system coupled with a MyGIG hard drive. On the outside you get 17-inch alloy wheels and an all-chrome grille. Other standard features include power front seats, new heated front and rear seats, front and rear climate control, adaptive cruise control, heated mirrors, a 6-CD changer with MP3 input, remote entry, full power features, a trip computer, intermittent wipers, tilt and telescopic steering, a temperature gauge, and electroluminescent gauges.
A 3.5-liter DOHC V6 gets 250 hp and 250 ft-lbs of torque and is paired with a 5-speed shiftable automatic. With rear-wheel drive, it gets 21/28 mpg, and with all-wheel drive that drops to 18/24 mpg. The sedan earns four and five stars in crash tests. Safety equipment includes traction and stability control, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, front and rear stabilizer bars, a tire monitor, foglights, and dual front airbags. Side airbags are optional.
The sedan seats five in two rows, with 46 inches of rear legroom, thanks to a larger wheelbase (by six inches). The trunk holds 15.6 cubic feet. Rear seats split-fold 60/40 and have a folding armrest. Various options add a DVD player, wood trim, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, remote start, a sunroof, and power-adjustable pedals.
