2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Trims and Specs

Only 250 of the 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo SE Coupes were produced. This Special Edition 2-seater is a sportier version of the Gallardo, with special two-tone paint and interior piping, tinted lights, a sport steering wheel, P Zero Corsa tires, and a sport suspension. A rearview camera comes standard and you can also get a car cover with the 2006 Gallardo SE Coupe. The raging 520-hp 5.0-liter V10 engine represents a slight power boost and is matched to a 6-speed manual or E-gear sequential shifter. 19-inch tires prop up this 30/70 split four-wheel drive coupe, which also comes with ABS brakes, dual front-side airbags, xenon headlights, traction and stability control, and adjustable rear spoiler.

Eight-way power leather front sport seats push you forward into the action, leaving a lot of the room behind you for the mid-mounted engine. Power features include keyless entry and folding mirrors. An auto-dimming rearview mirror, 6-CD changer with MP3 playback, dual-zone climate control, and alloy and leather interior trim complete the package. There aren't many options on the 2006 Gallardo SE beyond a navigation system and a Winter Package that adds heated seats, mirrors, and washer jets, and winter tires. Heated seats are also a stand-alone option.

A new addition to the Gallardo family is the 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, a two-seater convertible with a soft-top that retracts into the mid-mounted engine compartment in less than 20 seconds. The Spyder has the same 5.0-liter, 520-hp V10 engine, but only comes with the 6-speed manual transmission. The outside is all angles and features large side scoops and an adjustable rear spoiler. Brembo brakes, 19-inch wheels, ABS brakes, dual front and side airbags, xenon headlights, and traction and stability control are all standard on the all-wheel drive 2006 Gallardo Spyder. Tweaks to the suspension and shorter gear ratios for 2006 help improve the sport handling and precise steering.

Sport seats are decked out in leather and power-adjust eight ways. Dual-zone climate control, alloy and leather trim, power accessories, keyless entry, folding mirrors, and a CD-changer with MP3 compatibility keep you comfortable while still keeping the overall weight down in the convertible. Options add on a sport package (suspension, rearview camera, sport tires, and sport steering wheel), a Winter Package with heated seats and mirrors, a navigation system, security system, a leather headliner, and leather travel bags sized to fit in the small trunk. Drivers love its speed and expert steering, road grip, and sports performance. They don't like the lack of legroom or gas mileage, and wish it had more standard features.
