Apparently the Tundra models 2003-2006 access cab w/step-side is a unique and limited yet appealing to truck enthusiast. Personally I like it.

This model variation--2003-2006, is one of the most dependable and efficient trucks Toyota has ever made. The reliable V8 engine combined with a solid chassis with excellent options makes it a great choice.

Terrific Truck — Love this truck from mile 1 to mile 130,000, best vehicle I have ever owned and would buy another on in a heart beat. We tow our inboard wake board boat with this truck and it doesn't even breath hard. Great vehicle.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Power, Handles great, drives easy, reliable, easy to maintain, great towing ability

Cons: All Good

The Tundra Is A Solid Choice For A All Around Family Vehicle — I purchased the car in 2007 and enjoyed the higher vantage point and roomy interior over my s10 that I had previously owned. It has gone all over and has been reliable and safe. However the brakes are beginning to shimmy and the front-end always had a mysterious popping sound coming from what sounds like the control arms or other suspension parts which to this day has not been diagnosed. Overall this truck is very good and I would purchase it again despite some small annoyances.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Solid vehicle for hauling, travelling, and family commuting or vacationing

Cons: Has issues with brakes (shimmy) and suspension (makes a popping sound which the dealer never found)

Tundra — This is an all around great truck. Seats 5 adults comfortably or you can put some kids in the backseat if you have too. This is the only vehicle I have kept long enough to have completely paid for!! Now if it would get 30 MPG it would be the PERFECT vehicle.

Pros: All around great truck

Cons: MPG sucks
