Best Family Suv Ever Made — The truck looks awesome, specifically when we matched up larger tires on the wheels. The only flaw I have ever seen with this truck was the engine. The 6.0PSD is a complete pile of crap. From the EGR, to the headstuds, to the PITA to get the engine pulled (pulling the entire chassis off the frame)...the maintenance on this truck sucks. Now, would I but it again? HECK YES. This truck clobbered a deer with no damage. This truck has been hit 3 times and each time, the kids didn't even know what had happen. This truck is a TANK. I pulled a 31ft travel trailer from MD to SC and averaged 18mpg. I didn't even have to stop for gas, thanks to the 44gallon tank.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The BEST family SUV I could dream of.  Great for pulling our RV and getting the kids everywhere they need to be SAFELY.

Cons: 6.0 PSD.  The engine is a complete turd.

Great Family Car!! — Loved this car while we needed it. Super reliable!! So glad I had this when my babies were growing up. Best car ever!! Love that we feel super safe in it. L.ove the diesel sound and power. You won't regret buying an Excursion.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Tons of cargo space.  Parks like a car.  Amazing turning radius.  Tons of power. With the huge mirrors I had no blind spots.  Beautiful black and tan interior

We always felt very safe and people consistently asked how we kept our car looking brand new.
