The 2005 Ford Crown Victoria LX Sport adds an upgraded handling and performance package to the LX, which includes stronger shocks and springs, a rear air suspension, dual exhaust, and a larger rear stabilizer bar. This is perfect for those high-speed police car chases down winding roads. 4-wheel ABS, a front independent suspension, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, and dual front airbags are standard. Options include traction control, auto-dimming mirrors, and front-side airbags. The rear-wheel drive, full-size sedan seats six, with up to 21 cubic feet of trunk room when the seats are folded down.
The 2005 Crown Victoria LX Sport also adds a power passenger seat, leather seats and trim, automatic climate control, and power lumbar support fro the front seats. This is in addition to full power features, a CD player, intermittent wipers, a security system, and wheel-mounted cruise control. New options this year are a 6-CD changer and a power sunroof, which join power-adjustable pedals, heated mirrors, splash guards, and a cargo net. The LX Sport also features a full-size spare tire, which the other trims do not offer. Lots of passenger and trunk room, a throaty exhaust, and smooth quite handling stand out for drivers of the 2005 Crown Victoria LX Sport. The 18/25 mpg is tolerable.
