My 2002 Mercury Sable's temp display suddenly reads a steady 80 degrees on a 92 degree day. As far as I know this has just happened today; it was OK the last time I looked at it. Is it most likely the temp sensor or what?
I have a 2002 Mercury Sable 24V DOHC with 62K miles on it. The engine light came on this morning - first blinking and now is on as soon as I start the car. Took the car to Autozone and had them run an error code check. Returned a P0305 - Cylinder #5 Misfire detected. Is this a spark plug issue or an engine coil issue. Looked up the engine coil and it looks like there are 3 bolts holding in place so it looks pretty easy to replace. Is that true or should I take to the shop to have them do it.
