Summed Up Its A Great Balance Of Car For Me. — Love my Jag, it suits me and my life style perfectly. The size is perfect with the comfort of taking out friends with its spacious passenger compartment, yet compact enough to feel the sporty aspect of the car. The handling is awesome and the 2.5 is enough power for me.

Pros: Good size, nice dash and button access layout, handles very well, AWD is a plus. 2.5 engine is good balance of power and fuel efficiency. The exterior design with its body lines really keeps the car from looking dated.

Cons: The ride can be a bit on the stiff side. I would like a bit more cushion ride.

Jaguar X-type — Excellent handling. Absolutely erases snow and icy roads in winter. comfortable on long trips. 23 mpg City, 30.5 mpg highway, very good for a 3,600 lb car with all wheel drive. These are known to have problem with water intrusion onto and into the EFI computer due to improper reinstallation of or broken scuttle cowl. This causes loss of throttle input, message center reading DSC failure, transmission fault, & cruise not available. Easily fixed by correctly sealing the scuttle to tightly seat against the passenger side windshield with clear silicone under the scuttle.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Very smooth running V6 with plenty of high revving power.

Cons: Non-Factory rebuilt transmissions fail too easily.

Fantastic Small Sedan With Classic Jaguar Looks — I bought this car when I moved into the hills and needed an AWD car for snow. It proved to be not only an excellent car in snow, but also once I got used to the AWD, a great handling car. Had great fun with it, but sold it when it was no longer being used by the family.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This are under appreciated cars, mostly because they are discounted by Jaguar purists for its Ford Mondeo roots.  However, this is a great AWD car in both handling and comfort and its Jaguar designed engine 3.0L gives it plenty of power.  A bit noisier than a big Jaguar sedan, but quieter than its contemporaries.

Cons: Would expect better fuel economy.

It Looks Nice But It Is A Terrible Car — This car is sexy and fast, when it runs. Have had nothing but problems with this car. Radiator leaks, had it replaced along with thermostat. The fan runs non stop, dealer can't figure out why. Doors wont open, had to crawl out window, yeah that's sexy. Cruise control wont work, DSC system fault codes, limp mode whenever it feels like. Transmission reverse clutch burned up at 79,000 miles. Gear box fault codes whenever it feels like. Sunroof wont open, trunk wont latch unless you slam it closed 3 or 4 times. It doesn't shift right on acceleration like it is missing something. HATE THIS CAR!!!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Nice looking interior and exterior

Cons: Repairs on EVERYHING

Good Car. Fun And Somewhat Practical — Its a good car. Its safe and feels sturdy. There is a bit of a throttle lag although it does not have a turbo. There is a bit of maintainence, but it is a fun car to drive and I love people watching as I drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: People Stare and its prestigious

Cons: Expensive to repair

Classy — it's very comfortable in long trips, respectful amount of torque and horsepower for hard overtaking situations specially while carrying some load. maintenance costs a fortune and spare parts are very hard to find. it's very enjoyable on snowy roads thanks to a marvelous X drive system.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 4WD

Cons: spare parts

Over-all Very Happy With This Car — We get excellent gas millage, better then the new cars today. I love the back up sensors, the safety features are great if you have children. All the windows, including the sun roof have a safety feature, if you stick anything in the window while rolling it up it will automatically go back down. It is the easiest stick shift to drive--very smooth shifting.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It is pretty fast for a four door sadan

Cons: It doesn't like the cold
