A Great Family Car Or Hand-me-down. It Is Reliable, Practical, And Fuel-efficient. — The Honda Odyssey is a car the works very well for families. I have owned my Odyssey for over 13 years and am very pleased with its performance. The car is very safe and has a 5-star crash safety rating. It also has a comfortable ride and an awesome stereo. The only problem I have encountered with this car is transmission failure as well as a need for a new engine mount. Otherwise, It has great gas mileage. I do an equal amount of city and highway driving, and my Odyssey gets about 24 mpg. I am very pleased with this car and am planning to keep it for many years to come.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Strong acceleration, Honda reliability, Comfortable Ride, Great Looks, Class Leading Features, Honda quality and durability, 24 mpg average fuel economy, Awesome Stereo

Cons: Somewhat Noisy Cabin, Transmission Failure

Family Honda Van — I like that It starts and go. I can be alone or hauling my son basketball team. Very easy to drive. Easy in and out for older people. I dislike the style of the van concept in general. It is too boxy.

Pros: Great Family vehicle.  Very Reliable.  Low Maintenance Cost.  Average miles per gallon.

Cons: No Curve appeal.

I Love It!!! — I like it cause it's the perfect family vehicle and it comes with a fast 3.5 V-Tec V6. I have put a cold air intake in it with a new racing trans and now I want to know how I can lower it 2 inches so I can put my 20 inch tires & wheels on it!!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: All around excellent Van!!

Cons: Factory Transmission

Excellent — I love the everything about it, power sliding doors. The leather seats and the alloy wheels. The overall performance of this car is excellent. This car is just the type of car that a family needs when they are away from home.

Pros: Excellent vehicle for theoderm family, lots of room for the kids to be conmfortable.

Cons: There are no cons when it comes to an Odyssey.

Great Van — Great car over all. did not know that the transmission was only rated for 80k. i always thought Honda would be better than that. Other than that the car is really great. all aspects, drive, brake, handling, room inside for everything.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: awesome all around

Cons: transmission rated for only 80k. i had to get a new one at 120k.

Fun Family Minivan — Nice exterior color (silver) and leather interior (gray). Great Entertainment system. Nice storage area in the back. Heated front seats and cruise control. Handles well on the road and feels very safe. I liked the look and feel of this car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great family vehicle!  DVD system a plus

Cons: Lots of miles

Great Family Car With Versatile Seating And Built In Dvd Player — Overall a great car to drive around town, but perfect for long trips. Powerful v6 engine, but not great gas mileage. 3rd row seat folds into back creating deep storage and flexible transportation. Power driver's seat and heated front seats.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great space and Honda reliability. Captains chairs move laterally for a bench or individual seats.
Can watch movies/play video games while front passengers listen to the radio.

Cons: Gas mileage 25/18 could be better. Captains chairs are not the easiest remove.

Soccer Mom's Best Choice — A family of 5 bought this vehicle yesterday with delight! Not your single bachelor / bachelorette or empty nester's dream car. But for a family, this is a dream car come true. It hauls, it has tons of cup holders for bottles, cups and mugs. removable pilot seats, and instant trunk space by just a few simple adjustment. Odyssey is indeed voted one of the best designed minivan in America

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: cup holders, visibility, spacious, versatility, best soccer mom Minivan

Cons: not your best looking show off car.
