Oh yeah. This is the best truck I’ve found through CarGurus. There were just a few models available in the entire country. Most were well used and had average driving mileage for their years. I’m totally satisfied with my purchase.Apr 25, 2021

I loved working on it, putting all the add ons. Its really simple to work with and very inexpensive when it comes to maintain and finding parts to fit it. Everything is very basic and i don't feel like I'm driving in a glass car. Its older but that makes it fun to have.Apr 14, 2015

I like the Ranger for it clean looks and it works well for me as a basic construction work vehicle. Not much uphill pulling power when towing in the mountains but I have hauled a lot of things with this vehicle. The supercab is marvelous for getting things quickly out of the weather when my tool box is already full. Feb 04, 2015

Visibility in this vehicle is phenomenal, as well as how long it has lasted and still seem to plan to last. It has a little engine trouble here and there but is well worth it. Great vehicle with really reliable long-term stability.Dec 06, 2014

This is my first Ford car and has been treating me well, parts are cheap and easy to replace.
I have practically loved out of this car for the last 2 years and has been home sweet comfortable home, great for camping, road trips, commuting and hauling.Mar 12, 2014

I never get stuck anywhere. the extended cab option makes it to where i can lean the seat back and move the seat back, which is great for taller guys like me. has enough power to pull even a pontoon boat!Jun 24, 2012

Great power, will pull anything. Love that the 4WD will kick in on its own. Very comfortable for long trips, plenty of storage in the cab, the 4 doors and 2 jump seats help out with getting loads or people in and out.Jun 30, 2011

Engine gets poor MPG... Truck has good power, but at highway speed, transmission causes a 5 second delay from the time you put your foot down, to the time it finally does anything with the power. The Premium Ford 6-Disc changer is garbage... Truck is reliable. has never left me hanging... Does well off-road but lacks personality...Ultimately a very nice looking truck, that starts when you tell it to, but pretty much any amenity Ford put in it will stop working. Whoever installed the interior was drunk. Plus a lucky rock kicked up by a passing big rig will take big chunks out of the plastic hexagon-bubble grill.Mar 06, 2011

It is a peppy little pickup. I was worried about how comfortable it would be
coming off a massive behemoth like the 90 F150. But i was suprised. Me and my
stepdad can ride in it and not be cramped, and my best friend who is 6'3" has
no problems driving it or sitting in the passenger seat. Decent mileage for a 6
cyl, I get about 15 city, 20 hwy. It accelerates very well, I can floor it and get
thrown back into the seat. There are some small dings, but in an 8yo truck
thats to be expected. I put full synthetic oil in it, so maintenance is a bit costly
in that dept, but overall i am very pleased with her.Apr 12, 2010

pretty quick for a truck, could sound better with straight pipes, brakes good though they do squeak sometimes, had to replace a wheel bearing due to mudding, i like the step side model, the 4.0 V6 like to drink up the gas i get around 11MPG, fun to drive off road, mud tires are kinda loud around 75.Feb 02, 2010

The one thing that i hate about my truck is that it does not have enough power, and it does not have enough room in the cab. The reason i love my truck is that is fun to drive and i don't have to worry about what i do to it.Oct 26, 2009

Very good build quality. Acceleration is good for a 3 liter engine, fuel economy is good for its size and weight. The interior is plain Jane but comfortable on long trips. Externally Ford put on an outstanding paint job. Hauls whatever you can fit in the box.Oct 11, 2009

Truck drives well, clutch should be stronger. Rear brakes squeak needs disc brakes all around not just on front. Overall a fun truck to own. Could use about 20 more horse power.
But for what it is its okay. Thanks Oct 05, 2009

0-60 in 6 seconds, handlies great
Never needed a tune or engine repair, very tough motor.
exellant physical condition, though many would argue on wither its good looking. Its a blast to drive. Mines not stock though. But the suspension is fantastic for a small pickup.Sep 09, 2009

I loved this truck despite having it for a very short time. Peformance was amazing! Great power availabilty! I got the truck pretty much fully loaded. It would go anywhere with those BFGoodrich Offroad KO tires. Problem was it sucked gas like a V8. Ouch!Aug 24, 2009

Solid truck for a small size. Decent power from 4.0L engine. 4 wheel drive will get you through almost anything. 6' bed fits most materials and provides lots of storage if you have a locking cover. Jump seats in rear are very cramped. 6 disc in dash changer is a nice feature. Dec 22, 2008

I have not owned this truck for very long, so I have not tried out the 4-wheel drive yet. Overall, I have only put about 3,000 miles on this truck, and most have been city. The sport side bed looks good. Love the handy extended cab doors. Like the rubber floormats.Oct 08, 2008

I got this truck in the middle of September right before a very nasty winter. Even not really having felt out my truck's performance, we had a massive ice storm that coated the entire county in over 3 inches of ice, as well as a great deal of snow. This truck took it all in stride. It ran extremely well in the snow and had a strong grip on the ice. Now that spring has come around, the time for muddin' has come. Even without dedicated mudders this truck is a real champ on the trails.Sep 05, 2008

its got new blacked out headlights and tailights, all black, tinted windows, harley davidon decals from the F-150, rope tailight under the tailgate, air intake added
-67000 miles 4.0 L V6
g-reat acceleration, i almost beat a rice burner the other day with a bunch of aftermarket parts in a freakin truck, rofl
-great braking and handling
-just got it so i dont know much about its build quality but from what i can tell it is a very very solid truck
-already told u about apearance, but it has the FX4 package which has no carpet, it has like a vinyl floor which is awesome cause i can just wipe mud or wutever out
-averaging 15 MPG'S, but idc i still have my car
-very fun to drive, but havent got it off road yet, thats where the fun startsAug 22, 2008

Love the capability's of the truck. I'm a hard core 4 wheeler and the truck does the trick... even in near stock form.
What I hate about it is it's expensive. If something is to break, good luck finding it in the JY.

Good for working in, easy to clean interior with cloth seats and plain apholstery, so you don't have to worry about ruining the look. Exterior is easy to straight and clean looking. Looks really good with a coat of dirt over it. Stiffened suspension for better offroading.Jul 01, 2008

Typical Ranger XLT, 4.0 SOHC motor, auto tranny, put a tv/dvd player in the dash. It's covered in dirt, still drives great, and my bikes fit in the bedMar 15, 2008
