Nice Car For Sunday Afternoon Drives — I loved the look when I bought it and still do today. In recent years I have put in a new starter, new tires, new breaks, new thermostat and these things add up in cost. You have to love cars and enjoy the mechanical upkeep.

Pros: Nice looking, nice pick up, comfortable ride. Good handling, breaking, acceleration.

Cons: Does poorly in snow without snow tires. Older car and parts are expensive. Poor relative gas mileage.

Cheap And Fun To Drive — I bought this car used and the value drops precipitously but the fun remains - quirky British controls, funny looking and yet attractive, sounds and drives great, leather and wood trim and fast. 24MPG on hiway was ok, too. I moved on to a 2000 XK which is more advanced in every way.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Quiet, comfortable, fast, nice looking if you like Jags

Cons: maintenance and repair costs spendy if something breaks

My Car Is My Friend — I love the make and model of my car. it really takes off. I very happy with my car. the gas mileage, maintenance and repair costs are high. I need studs and I can't avoid them at this time. This car's acceleration, braking and handling is out of this world. I feel safe and in control driving my care but sometimes I am going to fast and have not noticed it at all. My car is so fun to drive. I get so many compliments.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: my car runs good

Cons: prices for repair is high

Sleek, Beautiful, Fast And Sporty. — I absolutely love driving this car. It combines the best of both worlds, luxury and performance. After driving this car and putting it to the test you too will fall in love with it. It just is not a family car by no means.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This is definately a powerful luxury car, it hugs the road, and goes where you want it to as quick as you want it as smooth as could be.

Cons: Jaguar parts if needed are expensive, but well worth it.

Cheap As Chips To Buy, But Can Cost An Arm And A Leg To Keep On The Road ! — Had this car for nearly 7 years now, it's a motorway cruiser, 70mph comes in at 2200 rpm, tickover, that will return about 35mpg at 70mph. My model although an SE was shy of a few extras I would have liked, power rear sun blind, parking sensors and sat nav! Looking at the XF next. Managed 0-60 in 7.0 secs via my android app !!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: great car, taken it to Ireland 4 times now, it's my tourer !

Cons: price of spares !

A Drink Problem!!! — Excellent performance if a little sluggish on the kick down. Fantastic grip in the dry, agile, even though heavy. Fantastic brakes. Terrible grip in the wet, verging on the scary, and I return 15.1 mpg long term average, which is really quite preposterous. Great combination of safety, comfort, with reasonable fun. Generally fairly reliable, but you need to find a specialist independent for servicing - which is no problem in Dorset. Fast family car, still much quicker than 95% of cars on the road, and very cheap to buy if you can afford the insurance and fuel!!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Excellent combination of qualities

Cons: Quite preposterous fuel consumption - on LPG it would be the perfect car!
