What should I do about a p0664 code? it says it is the manifold valve actuator. I have a 06 s type 3.0

The S-Type sedans are Jaguar's mid-priced ofering, falling in between the entry level X-Type and the flagship XJ sedans. Both the X-Type and S-Type Jaguar sedans are differentiated from the flagship XJ by their foundations. The two lower level sedans are Ford-based, while the XJ remains pure Jaguar. The S-Type is built atop Ford's former Lincoln LS platform, and shares many structural and mechanical similarities.
For 2006, the V-8 engine has been tweaked for slightly more power and a more advanced braking system has also been added. Bluetooth and satellite radio are added to the options roster.
The S-Type sedan has a unique and distinguished grille design, reminiscent of the Jaguar's classic designs. The S borrows many styling elements from the Jaguar Mark II sedan built in the 1960s.
The two model S-Type lineup begins with 3.0 liter V-6 version, which generates 235 horsepower. It comes equipped with leather, walnut trim, a moon roof, dual zone climate control, 17-inch wheels, and full power accessories.
A 4.2 liter V8-powered version is also available. This V-8, found in all the higher priced models, now produces 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. This model receives sound system upgrade, xenon headlights, a navigation system, and an electric rear sun shade.
A six speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels on both models.

2006 is a good year for S-Type. Although some may say it is not a real Jaguar due to Ford influence of that era, I would recommend the car. It is stylish, comfortable, well built, and a pleasure to drive. It is more reliable than most of the modern Jag models. Mar 20, 2024

I previously owned a 2003 Jaguar S Type, and I loved it so much I turned around and bought another S Type. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but has been very reliable and gives me that “classic” feel. Aug 21, 2023

Class manifested for mature market not since surpassed or equaled in my humble opinion-many detractors who fail to take into account the delicate balance was achieved-fell in love when first laid on for the first time-just as had in 1967 with the E-Type. Poise, fleet feet, elegance, attention to detail when Ford wrinkled out year by year the quality of fit issues but does not override not being able to access boot without key when battery dies-then cannot get into trunk-a STUPID design flaw could have been rectified but was not.Mar 31, 2020

I loved this car. It was great on gas and extremely comfortable. The car was just detailed and handles great. The car was in great condition and was very well maintained. Repair costs could get pricey but we didnt have any issues.Sep 13, 2014

I love the look of this car and the attention it attracts. I would recommend this car to anyone. the larger engine does reduce the milage. however the sound system and comfortable ride make up for the poor gas milage.Oct 25, 2013

Jaguar issues related to p0300
2006 jaguar s type v6 3.0. Was driving fine with no issues or warnings. Went into a store, came out, started the car and car just started running rough. Then got the performance restriction on the dash. Tried briefly to get it home but it wouldn't go over 10 mph. Stopped at a light and saw almost a steam like smoke coming from under the car. Immediately pulled over and got it towed. Had the car Scanned and only code that came up was p0300, which could possibly be anything minor to major. Things done (some needed anyway). Plugs Coils IMT o-rings Fuel filter Problem not solved. Car starts but runs very rough to the point once you let off the gas, car stalls. Will start right up again. Suggestions????
