I like the car to drive around for fun and on short trips. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a 2nd or 3rd vehicle just to drive to the store, go on short trips where luggage or storage capacity is a non-issue. Apr 04, 2015

It has lasted me for over 16 years and 250k miles. It's hard to make sharp turns and handles rough. It still looks slick despite its age. Handles great in snow and ice. The way the door closes and windows seal, a lot of wind and sometimes rain slips through the cracks. This also causes a loud ride (keep in mind this car is 16 years old)!Jul 20, 2014

I really don't have any complaints about this car, I bought this car used for $600.00 with no mechanical problems to speak of really, it does have minor cosmetic damage from previous owner and this car still K.B.B (Kelley Blue Book) at 1200 or more in it's condition, the only problem I really have with this car is the leak that places about 2-3 inches of water into the bottom of my car but that is on the mend overall this car is extremely solid and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good reliable car.Jul 06, 2014

I loved driving it in the Summer time and when it was nice out. I did have to replace and fix so many things on it. I didn't have that many miles on it either. I had to replace the brakes, but that is understandable. I was then told that my engine wasn't bolted in right. It was missing a few bolts. I don't know how it stayed in the car, but it did. When I was driving down the highway, my car shifted into Neutral for some reason. I had an automatic. It ended up costing me nearly what I paid for the damn thing, so I traded it in.Dec 17, 2012

Some people don't like the looks of the car, but I guess I'm the only one that matters. I love the looks of it, and it drives great! The gas mileage is very good for a car of that size.Feb 25, 2011

Performance - very good.
Build Quality - needs work but i will fix it someday soon i hope.
Appearance - very good.
Cost of Ownership - average.
Fun Factor - yes the best car to drive any where you want to go.

This car is just fun to drive. It handles good for me, sit comfortable. It's got style and the kids like it alot. It's not hard to mod things on it as long as you have patient with it. Gas mileage isn't bad but it's cheaper then driving my blazer. I wish it had a sunroof or a targa top but it's fine the way it is.Nov 26, 2010

Despite all the criticism of Chrysler for its products, I found this car to be totally enjoyable. I owned it 9 years and it cost me no more than average. It was for me, comfortable, easy to drive and fairly good performance with the 6. It had good acceleration for highways and passing. The steering was responsive but then I don't necessarily drive like NASCAR. I got avg, 30-32 on highway. The driver's window had a slight leak in a heavy downpour. since it was a convertible, it had the usual noises and body movement but less than some other convertibles. I think it is one of Chrysler's better looking products. It was sleek and had great proporations. This was a great vacation car since it had a very usable, good size trunk. And we really did load it down on trips. I reached a point where at 100+k miles it was begiining to needs things and I couldn't justify spending that much money (still had original exhaust and timing belt, the roof was going to need to be repaired or replaced, due for breaks, etc.) If there was one thing with which I had a big complaint is the a/c developed problems the last couple of years and became a nuisance.Sep 23, 2010

I loved my sebring but it was time for a 4 door. It was a beautiful color red, i believe indy color i had tan leather seats, and a sunroof. It had a spoiler on it to it was a sporty car. It had a great factory radio system in it to. I loved my car.Sep 14, 2008

power washed 1999 seabring engin now have no power to anything, will not start
Power washed under the hood. Now have no power to anything. Open door light on dash very faint, same with floor lights.Try to start car, nothing. charged battery, cleaned terminals on battery, still nothing.

99 Sebring Convertible JXI. Locked keys in trunk. Stranded and can't get inside trunk.
I came to the park to play some baseball and I'm 99 percent sure I locked my keys in my trunk. My back window is open because I still need to buy a new mirror for it, so I squeezed thru to try the trunk release. That did not work and every time I open the doors, am alarm goes off for a very long time. Did anybody have any ideas how I can get into my trunk? It doesn't seem like I can pull up the rear seats based on how the convertible is built. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time and have a great day.
