1989 Audi 100 Review

For Do It Yourselfers — Got the car for almost nothing, put thousand in maintenace that the previous owner didn't, runs like a dream, awesome in snow and loose surfaces but the 2.3L in-line five lacks power (non-turbo). Very comfortable for long distances, cheap to maintain and unkillable engine.

Pros: good fuel economy for such a large heavy car

Cons: Needs more power but is acceptable

1989 Audi 100 Review

Audi 100 — The 100 model was the first Audi I owned. It was bought to replace a Ford Mondeo as the extra space was needed for my business. Altough it was 12 years old, it felt at least half that. It was a comfortable cruiser and I run it until it was uneconomical repair. When launched ,the 100 was the most aerodynamic production car. Unfortunatley, the only place to see an immaculate example is probably Audi's own museum.

Pros: Comfort, Space, Perfomance

Cons: Now a classic car
