A Beast — Truck was a beast, did everything I asked it to and was actually really comfortable, even the back seat. It had a lot of little issues but it was 26 years old, that was to be expected. Overall one of my favorite trucks I have owned.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

    Pros: Comfort, hauling capabilities

    Cons: Gas mpg

Of The 3 Trucks That I Have Owned In 22 Plus Years This Is By Far The Best Truck I Have Ever Owned. — The performance is what you would expect from an old schoo naturally aspiratedl diesel, fairly good considering the weight of the truck. It is a 1 ton 4x4, 4 door with an 8 foot box. It has been a plow truck it's whole life so of course it has a few squeaks and rattles, but nothing major. As for being 23 years old and only having been repainted once it is still in good shape. A few minor rust spots and faded paint, but over all still in great shape. Three things you never want to say when in a parts store, 1 ton, 4x4 and diesel. So yes the parts are expensive butthankfully they don't wear out too often. The fun factor is second to none because there just aren't too many of this type of trucks still around, and I am asked all the time about it.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: It's a diesel so the fuel economy is great. It is also a 4 door truck, so being able to carry 5 passengers is great.

Cons: It's a 1 ton truck 4x4 of course the ride.

If You Need Big You Have To Suffer The Gas Price — will tow any thing it is hooked to, but wont pass a gas station built better tahn some but not as good as others two wheel drive but been pulling out 4x4s in the snow the last three days will some day get a engine rebuild

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: its a tank on wheels

    Cons: gas milage

? — acceleration sucks, no brakes, handles OK, it wasn't built horrible, as of now it needs: brake lines, transmission or fluid, exhaust manifold, new rear inner tires (dually). gas mileage sucks (350 c.d.i) (put 1/4 of a tank in, let it run for 10 minutes and I'm down to 1/16). It is fun to drive because it is a big truck.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

    Cons: NO brakes
