Mercedes-Benz SL320 History
This two-seat passenger roadster was born in the 1994 model year, when Mercedes-Benz changed the names of its SL-Class cars to accurately reflect engine size and eliminate confusion. Previously called the SL300, the SL320 takes its name from its 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engine.
The SL320 was dropped from the U.S. Mercedes-Benz line-up in the 1998 model year, leaving only V8 and V12 roadsters in the SL-Class in America. The 320 was produced for European markets until 2001.
