Prossleek lines, great suspension - comfortable- love the convertible top mechanics. Consreally low front end; replaced 3 times due to hitting curb or cement parking block. Can't even hear it when I "catch" a curb, until I back out.

Astonishing Car. — an astonishing car. Mechanical quality is above average and in no apparent way comparable to the american "built to break" manufacturing philosophy. Cost of ownership can be managed through use of other mechanic (qualified) for non-warranty items. Appearance is unique and and perhaps understated in an elegant way.

Proslooks and power. ConsNothing as far as I'm concerend.

Awesome — Love the car and is handles great. Classic MB design that just looks great. They have not really done much to the design in 12 years and the car still looks great. Almost impossible to tell a 2000 model from a 2012 model if you don't know a lot about the SL500. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Exspense — fast as a aston and lots of other cars and comfort aswell. the wife likes driving it too, plenty of room in boot for shopping. you know etc. prefeer to drive it with roof down in winter, as summer is to hot, no point in air con otherwise ps lovely car with roof down and heated seats and heaters on. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

110+ In 3rd Gear — This car was another one that I had for about 10 minutes. It was awesome. It was amazingly fast and just beautiful. It was pulling so hard at 100 that I had no idea I was going that fast. I still couldn't breathe. A couple issues with this one… It's an automatic… yes it does and can come with a F1 style manumatic, but, its an auto nonetheless… the other issue is… the guy who actually owned the car had the supercharger go out when the car had about 700 miles… Mercedes replaced it with no questions asked… but not a great start.

What A Car! — This vehicle truely defines why Mercedes Benz is one of the pioneers in the automoblie industry. This engine is very beefy and still growls at low rpms. This car is a freaken savage! This has so much torque that when your driving a 40 mph and floor it, it burns rubber. Thats I why I love German cars. |
