The 2022 Mercedes-Benz Metris is a functional passenger van that is a more maneuverable alternative to the full-size Sprinter lineup. It can seat up to eight passengers, making it great for road trips, and can also be used as a comfortable transport vehicle.
The Metris has been sold in international markets since the mid-1990s as the Vito. It was introduced as the Metris for the 2016 model year. In 2021, it received updated infotainment features and safety technology, which carry over to the 2022 model. The Metris is sold in 126-inch or 135-inch wheelbase configurations. The rear rows can be removed, providing a number of passenger/cargo configurations, and the van offers 38 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. With multiple rows removed, the Metris provides a generous 97.3 cubic feet of cargo space.
Standard equipment on the Metris includes USB and Bluetooth connectivity, cross-wind assist, automatic emergency braking, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
