My car 2008 Volvo c30 replaced serpentine belt, but it was gone after 1 month. I need to fix serpentine belt again. Do I need to replace belt tensioner too?

Both trims have front-wheel drive and get around 20 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway. Think of the T5 2.0 as a 1.0 with cooler cosmetic accents and a sweeter sound system. Nothing to dislike. Wish I got the fog light set. Acceleration , braking, and handling are amazing. Never needed any repairs since I got it. You hear an engine hum because of the turbo.

2.0D 136 BHPgoes really well, brakes could be better, electronics intervene way too early under hard braking.
Build quality is excellent.
Interior is lovely scandinavian design, exterior is a love it or hate it kind of thing => i love it!
Does an average of 7l/100 km with a sporty driving style

I love this car. It is so attractive and distinct you cant mistake it for anything else on the road. Despite it being a small car, it has huge amount of space in the back seat and is loaded with features including leather, 8 speaker sound system (designed only for this car), 6 airbags (it's a Volvo, what do you expect?), 18 inch rims, and a sunroof. I love the ride and feel of this car, it is very responsive and quick. The interior is comfortable and attractive. I especially love the "floating" center console that is easy to use and includes storage behind it in addition to the all glass back liftgate which provides excellent vision in the rear. The seats are so comfy and the back seat has enough leg and head room for my 6 foot brother to sit comfortably. I love my car and i am very happy with my decision. :) GO FOR THIS CAR!!!Sep 09, 2008

Again a company car for about 3 months. At first was curious after liking the 480 in the 80's.
The boot seemed none exixtant. Then I put my pushchair in it (well sons pushchair), the same one that will not fit in a BMW 3 series and I had space left. Thats an illusion. Even a set of golf clubs went in (just).
Great handling, the wheels angle slightly in the corners. I only had the 2.0d and that was 0-60 in 8-ish. Felt very quick and stable.

En 2004 la Ford Focus etait renouvelee.Vous ne vous en etes surement pas apercu puisque c'est le modele europeen qui a ete completement redessine.La Ford Focus qu'on peut acheter aujourd'hui n'a absolument rien a voir avec cette derniere.Bon, vous vous demandez surement ou je veux en venir.Eh bien, la Volvo C30 T5 que j'ai essaye est a peu de choses pret une Ford Focus.Elle partage la meme plate forme, dites C1, que la Focus.Elle n'est pas la seule non plus, la Mazda 3 est aussi une Ford Focus.Dans le cas de la C30, on a non seulement une plate forme commune mais aussi un moteur commun, le 5 cylindres turbocompresse T5.On retrouve le meme moteur dans la Focus ST europeenne.Donc, encore une fois nous sommes les enfants pauvres du monde automobile avec les residus de fabrication des differents geants automobiles.
Passons outre cette note deprimante, on peut se consoler en se disant qu'on peut acheter une Focus dernier cris au Canada, a condition d'y mettre le prix.Quoique a bien y penser, y'a jamais vraiment eu rien d'extraordinaire a propos de la Focus.Par contre, une Volvo c'est plus interessant.Surtout quand elle a le look de la C30.Le style est l'interet principal de celle-ci.Et les gens du marketing de Volvo le savent bien et appuient franchement fort sur cet argument.Supposement, ce sont de jeunes hommes d'affaires celibataires et avec aucun enfant qui sont la cible principale de Volvo.Je ne suis pas celibataire et j'aimerais avoir des enfants un jour et je ne suis pas non plus homme d'affaire, pourtant j'aimerais bien avoir une C30.Le marketing n'est pas une science exacte vous me direz.Non!? c'est vrai!
Treve de tattaouinage, et passons aux choses serieuses.Vous avez bien lu, on retrouve un 5 cylindres en ligne dans cette Volvo.Pour ceux qui s'y connaissent un peu, y'a rien de surprenant la dedans.Ca fait belle lurette que Volvo construit de tel moteur et on pourrait meme dire que c'est une de leur marque de commerce.Ca et le fait que leur voiture sont ultra securitaire.Je pense bien que le commun des mortels imagine surtout ce dernier point quand on lui parle de Volvo.Le sport, les circuits de courses, les "burnout" a n'en plus finir, c'est pas vraiment ce qu'on retrouve dans l'encyclopedie de la culture populaire sous le nom Volvo.Pourtant, avec ce 5 en lignes on arrive a nous faire changer d'avis.Pour que les idees preconcues s'envolent encore plus vite on y ajoute un turbo.
A part le turbo et les 5 cylindres la voiture est assez conventionnel jusqu'a ce qu'on penetre a l'interieur.Le design est vraiment special.La console centrale flotte dans les airs et est tres mince.On dirait un gigantesque iPod.Le coffre est fait avec une vitre ce qui donne une impression d'espace et offre une visibilite parfaite pour faire un parking en parallele.Le moteur aussi est tres reussi, de par sa nature c'est un moteur tres doux mais grace au turbo il donne des performances plus qu'agreable.
Performance:
Parlant de celle-ci, c'est peut-etre la que le compte de fee s'emousse un peu.Y'a rien de vraiment mechant a dire sur la C30 et c'est peut-etre la ou tout le probleme reside.C'est rapide mais pas dangereux.La tenue de route est efficace sans plus.
Les sensations qui remontent de la direction sont correcte.On peut lire la route assez facilement, mais on dirait que le volant repose sur des roulement en caoutchouc.J'ai vu bien pire sur certaine voiture, mais ce petit defaut asceptise un peu le comportement de la C30.Le grip est la sans aucun doute, mais c'est rien de tres enivrant.On a comme une sensation de lourdeur a l'avant.Pourtant, la voiture resiste tres bien au sous-virage et quand cela se produit on peut amener l'arriere de la voiture dans le jeu pour faire pivoter la C30 en courbe.Pas de drift ici, c'est une traction avant quand meme, mais l'arriere est surprenemment joueur.Je suis pas un as de la conduite, mais un petit coup de pied gauche sur la pedale de frein est tres efficace pour lisser les sorties de virages.
Sans ça, le moteur bien qu'equipe d'un turbocompresseur est plus oriente vers le luxe que les performances.Ca tire fort, mais ca reste civilise.Y'a pas de tanguage quand on plante l'accelerateur et la traction est bonne.Y'a beaucoup de couple disponible et il est constant de 1 500 à 4 800 tr/min.La reside peut-etre le probleme, parce que bien que le T5 de la Volvo est loin d'etre anemique y'a pas vraiment d'étincelles.Pas de bruits de moteur, pas de montee en puissance radicale etc... Un moteur de voiture compacte normale, peut-etre un peu plus puissant.
On peut quand meme avoir beaucoup de plaisir avec la C30.Sur une petite route de campagne, elle est tres plaisante a conduire.On se sent en securite et le feedback global nous donne envie de pousser plus loin et plus vite.On peut faire ca sans trop de souci, sachant qu'on peut s'approcher des limites de la voiture sans qu'elle nous morde au visage.De plus c'est une Volvo alors y'a toute une panoplie de gadgets pour eviter le pire et si jamais cela se produisait la reputation de la marque n'est plus a faire dans ce domaine.
Conclusion:
C'est une bonne alternative aux voitures sport compactes traditionnelles comme la Volkswagen GTI ou la Civic Si.Par contre, on ressortira de la voiture avec un peu moins d'adrenaline que ces dernieres.De plus on devra debourser quand meme un bon montant supplementaire.Une rivale serieuse pour la BMW 135i ou n'importe quelle autre Serie 3, pas vraiment.Dans le cas de la 135i, y'a pas photos, beaucoup plus de puissance et d'agrement de conduite.Pour la Serie 3, un manque de luxe peut-etre et la finition n'est pas a la hauteur des bavaroises.De plus, on a plus de sensation au volant d'une Serie 3, l'experience etant beaucoup plus intime avec la route.Une bonne voiture tout de meme, pour le jeune homme d'affaire cool et branche qui ne veut pas trop defaire sa coiffure.Aug 15, 2008

Een hele sportieve wagen, zowel uiterlijk als onder de motorkap.
1,6 liter turbodiesel van 110 pk.
Verbruik ligt momenteel nog rond de 6 liter per 100 km, wat toch best goed is.
De wagen geeft een heel solide gevoel op de weg.
Hij is vanbinnen heel modern afgewerkt en hoort qua afwerking zeker bij de top.
Zoals Volvo gekend is, is de auto uiterst veilig.
Een nadeel ZOU kunnen zijn dat het een driedeurs is en achterin maar 2 zitplaatsen heeft.
