The Infiniti FX35 crossover SUV continues into the 2008 model year essentially unchanged from previous years, with the exception of a few new standard features, such as XM satellite radio, and some updated interior and exterior colors. The long, wide vehicle crouches on 18-inch wheels and features a front midship engine placement, which positions the engine behind the front axle but in front of the passenger cabin to help improve the vehicle's balance and handling.
There's no mistaking the FX35 on the open road, with its mash-up of SUV and sports car design features. The passenger canopy, positioned rakishly behind the long hood, gives the vehicle a decidedly sports car-like appearance. Inside is a roomy, sport-inspired cockpit with a contoured, bolstered driver's seat, a tilt steering wheel that moves the gauges also to ensure a clear view of the road, and memory settings for the driver's seat, steering wheel, and exterior mirrors.
Of course, this being an Infiniti, the FX35 is available with many of the automaker's most cutting-edge features, including a RearView monitor, a wireless Bluetooth hands-free phone system, the Infiniti Intelligent Key, and the Infiniti Controller for accessing the audio, navigation, and information systems.
The 2008 FX35 is available in both rear-wheel-drive and intelligent all-wheel-drive versions, with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 275 horsepower. A five-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift mode feature is standard.

The styling and handling of the vehicle is awesome. The seats wrap around you and the finishes are top notch compared to models of the same year and class. Sporty handling with great power. Gas mileage was a disappointment. I would recommend to anyone.Apr 07, 2013

We love driving this car. Very reliable in all weather conditions. Heated seats and sunroof are nice features. Feels luxurious. Sits higher above the road than a car but feels less bulky than an SUV. great crossover. Not much not to like about it. Dec 27, 2012

Overall, I enjoy the ride, power, gas mileage, and look of the car. The biggest negative for me would be the size. I have 2 dogs, a 2 year old, myself and my mother. There is just never enough room.Aug 12, 2012
