The Infiniti FX35 AWD adds an Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system to the standard FX35 package. Infiniti notes that the advanced system can detect traction needs in nearly any driving situation and make adjustments accordingly, shifting automatically from all-wheel-drive to rear-wheel-drive or any combination in-between to provide optimal stability.
XM satellite radio was added to the list of standard features for 2008. The XM system is part of an 11-speaker, 300-watt Bose audio system. The FX35's leather-appointed interior also includes heated power-adjustable front seats, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, and dual-stage front airbags.
Front fog lights, heated exterior mirrors, four-wheel antilock brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, and electronic brake force distribution with brake assist are also part of the package.
A 275-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine provides plenty of zip, while a low stance, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and a traction control system provide a smooth ride and responsive handling. The front midship engine placement, which positions the engine behind the front axle but ahead of the passenger cabin, also helps to improve the vehicle's balance and handling.
Options include a sport-tuned suspension, a power sliding glass moonroof, Infiniti's Intelligent Key, and a Bluetooth hand's-free phone system, among other features.
