Suzuki decided to simplify the Suzuki Reno compact for 2007, decreasing the trims from 3 to 2 and adding standard tire pressure monitoring. In addition, you can now add a Convenience Package that features a leather steering wheel from which you can control your audio. This compact sedan still seats 5 and has 4 doors. The Base and Convenience trims get you around 22 mpg in the city, 31 on the highway. Both use a 2.0 L, 127 hp I4 engine with 4 speed automatic on the Convenience and standard 4 speed manual on the Base with option for automatic. The Convenience has a sunroof while the Base gives you optional ABS brakes. Both trims have around 112.4 cubic feet in the interior and a cozy 8.8 cubic feet in the trunk. Overall, drivers will tell you that the '07 Reno delivers everything you could expect in a budget compact car. Positives include roomy interior, long warranty, and reasonable standard features for its class. Negatives include a somewhat rough handling, noisy engine, and higher depreciation. The Reno represents a slightly less expensive variation on the Forenza and the 2007 version did nothing to change the established hierarchy.

I bought my Reno in Nov of 07 and have loved it ever since. The car is great out on the road, very zippy. The only thing I've had to take it to the dealership for are oil changes. The Reno is a blast to drive especially with the manual transmission. Would love to recommend this car to anyone looking for something different.Jul 01, 2008

The color is bright! I never have to worry about forgetting where I parked my car, it's just there. It does great on gas mileage, as long as you keep up with the maintenance. It is pretty good in the snow, not that we have had too much to worry about this year. Jan 31, 2008
