No power @accessory
My Kia has no power to the windows, door locks, cigarette lighter, etc if the key isn't in the on position. Worked fine then nothing. Suggestions??

Write a reviewRestyled in mid-year 2006, the 2007 Kia Optima adds 1-hp onto its I4 engine, but is pretty much a carryover of what has been dubbed the 2006.5 Optima. This mid-sized sedan with an emphasis on elegant styling and abundant features at an economy price comes in either LX or more upscale EX trims. Both are available with either the 2.4-liter, 162-hp I4 or the 2.7-liter, 185-hp V6. A 5-speed manual is standard on the I4, and all other trims come with a 5-speed automatic.
The 2007 Optima adds more room to the sedan, with extra length, height, width, and an extended wheelbase. This means more trunk space and overall legroom, and it claims to be one of the largest mid-size sedans out there. Though ABS, traction, and stability control are optional, the Optima does come standard with front, side impact, and side curtain airbags. Base LX features air conditioning, power windows and locks, heated mirrors, and a manually adjustable seat. When equipped with the auto tran, cruise control and audio controls on the steering wheel come standard. The EX has a power driver's seat, foglights, leather trim, and automatic climate control. A sunroof and leather seats are optional only on the EX.
An affordable, yet stylish family sedan, with improved handling and reliability, is what the 2007 Optima hopes to be. Owners love how many standard features come with it, and they also feel it's comfortable and roomy. Many mention that the ride feels stiff and the seats need more support and padding.

with their performance. It's a 4-cyl luxury car that has a DOHC engine. It's
like driving at least a V6 with a cold air intake. Love. Love. Love. Not to
mention the steering is really tight. It's awesome. Roads with lots of bends

it needed oil changes tire changes and brake fixes. the acceleration is ok brakes are sqeaky handels good. i do not know about gas milege. it was fun earlyer to drive but now not. now the car inside is old but a long time ago it was cool.Jul 05, 2010

Can hit a deer doin 60 mph and and live to tell about it (me not the deer). Air bags didn't deploy but it left the deer in pieces all over the road. Damage to car wasn't that bad considering we hit dead center.May 13, 2009

The torque and horsepower leave much to be desired but overall the car is clean with great features like stereo control in the steering wheel and it looks very nice from both the outside and inside. Performance-wise the no-lift shift option is fun to mess around with adn the skinny tires allow for lots of lean when taking hard corners but the hankook tires could be stickier. Also the brakes are really quite good allowing for tire lock-up on dry cement which i've actually had to use twice and the tires started smoking but the brakes are very reliable. Gas mileage is in the mid twenties and reach 30 is driven conservatively. Overall it's a good car with a lot of nice features but i wouldn"t recommend it for anything more than grocery getting.Aug 04, 2008

also like the infinity system. Looks good with the duel
chrome tips. I wish i got the leather, but the cloth

My teenage daughter totaled my Honda Accord-2002. Replaced with this car, Lot of extras, nice interior. Suspension system by Mcpherson great, Michellin tires, safety wise excellent, Great warrenty, Excellent Miledge 21 CTY per gallon. Doors wont unlock/open
My fiancee has a 07 kia optima, just recently bout a month ago, whenshe would unlock the door with her key it wouldn't .open. She has to pull and turn the key at the sametime and sometimes it opens sometimes it don't. It takes her roughly 10 minutes to get her door open now. Does anyone know what the cause of this is and how to fix it?
