What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2007 Cadillac CTS enjoy its impressive performance, comfortable ride, and stylish design. Most liked the power and handling of the car, especially with the 3.6L engine, which provides a strong driving experience. On the downside, some found the interior to be less luxurious than expected for a Cadillac, with suggestions for upgrades, and a few noted that the sound of the engine could be improved."
Air bags did not work, seatbelts did not work, Speedometer did not work correctly, and the key got stuck in the ignition. It ended not being a safe car.
July 31, 2026I owned one. For me it was comfortable, powerful, not a gas guzzler and problem free.
May 27, 2023I love this car! , it's super fast, handles curves like a race car, with a body design and the luxury for an old man! Gas mileage is amazing. and it gives me that king of the world smoooth day feeling!

August 11, 2010This car looks great and is fun to drive. Built very well with a solid but not overly stiff suspension. More sporty than your typical Cadillac so a little less refined. You can still get all the bells and whistles though. Tons of leg room in the front and plenty in the back as well except for the middle seat.
January 21, 2014Get the 3.6L engine as the 2.8L is adequate but hardly breathtaking in acceleration. But the ride, handling, and overall comfort are exceptional in all 3 categories. Very few sedans manage to offer an optimal blend of those 3 characteristics. The engine is a bit noisy for my tastes, but the 3.6L should be quieter. The CTS is a superb sedan, and worth a look.
March 15, 2008Great car overall no major scratches chips or wear items. Just a above average driver. Sunset Blue was a new color for 2007 and is fairly rare. Lots of silver's white diamonds and black but not too many of these. This blue gives you some color that stands out but at the sametime gives you a always clean look. Black does the samething well except it never stays clean. Comfort and convience heateds seats etc.. 3.6 liter high output engine.
November 30, 2010Daily driver. Stock CTS Sport package. Found on line with only 27,500 miles. No problems, so far. Replaced battery, but I would consider that normal on an almost 5 year old car. Fun to drive. Handles more like a sports car. In Sport mode, the transmission lags a little between 1st and 2nd, but other upshifts are quick and precise. It can haul the kids around, looks good and is fun to drive.
October 19, 2011the last gen CTS was fairly good looking with the right package/wheels, i liked how different it was, the interior however wasn't up to class standards but i'd still own that gen CTS again. espeacially since you can get killer deals on 3.6 sports now, there good looking and handle extremly well for a luxo cruiser
August 8, 2009Quick, Competent, Well Designed. Would certainly be better with the V8.
February 1, 2008Handling and acceleration are great. The appearance both inside and out are impecable. The car is a hoot to drive. It zips in and out of traffic easily.
