Gas mileage across trims comes out to around 15 mpg in the city and 19 on the highway. SL's have 4 doors and seat 6 while the SLE's seat 9 and offer optional sunroof and navigation system. With second row seats folded and third row removed, cargo capacity reaches 105 cubic feet. SL's and SLE's have max towing capacity of 7700 lbs. while the Denali AWD tows up to 8100 lbs.
Overall, drivers like the roomy interior and powerful V8 powertrains. However, they also say that the Yukon needs better materials. Despite the shortcomings, the 2006 GMC Yukon delivers in just about every facet. Go for an '07 if you want something even more modern.
I bought an 06 Yukon, seems every other complete stop then begin to accelerate there is a strange whirring buzzing sound that sounds like it's just on the other side of the firewall. Almost like an electric motor retracting or winding something. I can feel it in the pedal while the noise is present. The sound lasts 2-3 seconds. What in the world is it, it drives me crazy?
The auxiliary power outlets in my 2006 GMC Yukon Denali are not providing power to phone chargers or lighter. What can I do to get them working again?
Oil pressure gauge 06 denali 6.0 reads 80 all the time when engine running , with it off reads 0 gauge or sending unit or dirty screen ?
I am having an issue with my 4 wheel drive. I’m on regular road at all times the weather is good the road is dry. However my 2006 GMC Yukon will change on it’s on from 4 wheel to 4 hi or low on it’s on. Now it’s constantly on 4hi even if I press the button for 4wheel drive it’ll light up and say it’s on 4 wheel but on turns my tires seem as if the grip of life are on them it’ll make noises and feel as if it does not want to turn then once parked I’ll look and it’ll be right back on 4hi. What do I do? Thanks in advance!
