I have a 2005 Toyota Solara SLE. I having problems with the front end. The car shakes/shimmies upon accelaration at approx. 40 mph. It smoothes out if you take your foot aff the accelarator but shakes whenever you accelarates. Can't drive above 45-50 mph shaking too bad.

Front wheel is loose, to much back and forth play
I have a 2005 Toyota Solara with 68,000 miles. I think it's time for a tune-up, but my mechanic brother says it's not. I get regular oil changes and he says that's all I need until I hit 100,000 miles. Somehow that doesn't sound right to me.
