Great Car! Silent on the road!

I love the way it runs, and the stock stereo is great. The ride is very smooth. I just wish they made it easier to work on.

The performance is more than you would suspect with 250hp, 15lbs of boost and drilled and slotted rotors. Of course this is after the stage 2 kit. But thats a must have. Gas mileage is decreased with the power adder but overall a good car.

Its Not an SS. Dont like the cloth/poly interior. Very reliable, surpising power and great gas mileage. Lighter weight than the cavaliers it replaced. Overall a good car, as long as youre not looking for a muscle car or a luxury car. It serves its purpose.

I love this car. It goes the way I want it too, and I don't have to put my foot all the way down on the gas to make it go. It looks fast, but that doesn't mean you have to drive fast. I would buy another one. This car is my favorite. I love it even more than my first car.

performance- when you accelerate fast it has a little bit of a delayed reaction. kinda sucks. but I don't race so I guess it doesnt matter that much. build quality- on door handle inside, the silver paint is chipping off and the fabric is pulling away from the handle. appearance- it's a pretty car, no doubt. not my first choice but it works for now. cost- pay about $40 from 1/8 of a tank to fill it. i just pay for the oil changes every 3 months. good quality if you take car of it, it's never needed anything else done to it. fun- it feels much funner when it's clean and has some tire shine. =)

From a mechanical standpoint this car is awesome. In 2005 it set a record for production fwd cars at the historic nurburgring in germany. However Chevy opted to do things that dont make sense to me. For example they dressed up the motor with fancy covers, they gave me a massive spoiler, a 7 speaker sound system and pointless 18" wheels. While to some this may be a good thing, but when the interior build quality isnt up to par with anything in its class I would have much rather had a moderate stereo cloth seats no spoiler 17" wheels off some other car in the gm lineup and cloth seats in exchage for NO RATTLES.

The interior is fairly big for the car being the size it is. As long as you're a passenger it's a comfortable ride. It would be more comfortable for the driver if there was cruise control. The one I drove didn't have it but other than that it was nice to drive. Good handling and traction on dry roads. Overall good and reliable car. Hasn't had any major issues yet.

I like my car because it's cheap to run, is a lot of fun to drive, and is very practical for a small car. I bought my car used for a very small price and it has been a great car for me so far and I hope it stays that way for years to come.

Acceleration is decent. stops and handles decent. interior is not bad. the seats are awesome, minus the fact that they dont fit inside the car perfectly... Its a chevy. The apperance, lots of stile and pazazz. the car is a good deal if you are looking for a affordable, hot, quick ride with great MPH, consider the cobalt SS/SS or SS/TC .

I've had this for 2 years with just now 46k miles on it, and I haven't had any problems with it.

With that supercharger the acceleration is awesome, 2nd and 3rd gear really pull. Corners good and flat, though it is front wheel drive. I like the look of the interior, I think it should age well style wise. But the trim around the window switch gear is peeling and it's been replaced once all ready, come on GM you can't paint plastic. Looks wise, everybody thinks I put the body kit on and compliments me on it. Tires and oil changes are brutally expensive but I guess that's the cost of owning a fast car. I can get 40mpg on the highway and V8 power when I step on it, best of both worlds.

Overall a finely built machine, apparently though with the 2005 model, the key has a tendency to get stuck in the ignition. Other than that it drives well, handles nice, and it is very roomy in the back for passengers. I'd recommend the Cobalt but maybe just the 2006 and up models.

It's ok, I should've waited until 2006. We got a basic model, but the engine kept overheating, even in winter! Finally after 4 tries, Valenti fixed it. Now I'm happy. Cost of maintenance is good, no other problems except for the overheating.

This car can handle hard times. The interior is better than the previous SL1, featuring great seats and a classy dash layout. While the CD player in that dash is very prone to failure in extreme heat or cold, it can be replaced. Unfortunately, such replacement costs a lot of money since so much of the car is wired through the radio harness. The audio is below average, but that's upgradable as well. The handling impressed me, and the acceleration was familiar since the Cobalt uses the same motor as the SL1. It's a little heavier than the Saturn, but it looks so much better that it doesn't matter. Also, the Cobalt responds very well to quality performance parts. I added a Magnaflow catback exhaust and an AEM cold- air intake to gain a little power with much success. This is definitely better than the average 4-banger.

The trunk is huge if you need room in a 2 door coupe, this would be your ticket, it also has a decent amout of back seat space and head room. For a base coupe the 2.0l 4 cylinder engine has got a decent amout of balls for a 4 banger. It governs at 170 thought =(, so thats kinda bummer. Parts to improve the car thought are not that terribly expensive.

I love my car because it is exactly what I wanted. I have started to put on some aftermarket parts, including a spoiler that I have just purchased, and am going to put on myself. I still want to put bigger rims and tires on it, but unfortunatly that is a little ways down the road.

Quick car, handles very well, not so hot on the build quality. I wish I wasn't reminded of this all the time!

Nice Car. Fast Acceleration. Supercharged!!! Love the whine. Very good handling. Decent interior. Very sharp car, neat styling. Decent on repairs. Oil changes cost an arm and a leg though. Requires Mobil-1 Full Synthetic oil. Runs best on 89 octane feul or higher. Great gas mileage. 32-38 MPG.

I love my car. Never had any problems with it.

When I first got the car it was nothing but trouble. After bringing it back to the dealership 6 times within the first year I was ready to give it back. Once the 2nd and 3rd year passed there were no more problems. It gets great gas mileagle and that is the only reason I still have this car. I like telling my friends that it takes $20 to fill up my tank and I can drive an average 380 miles on a tank. Especially driving 32 miles one way to work. That makes this my point A to B car.

i love my car, its awesome. what else do i have to write here? its not that slow for being a 4cyl. but its not that fast wither. handels well and get good mileage. seats are comfy. its a good car for the money

its like a caddy... but different! when you put your foot down and count to 20 you can get up to speeds of 80 sometimes 90 kms per hour! The acceleration will almost spill your coffee ( if you are driving the standard version ..... and suck at it!!!)
