Having owned several Grand Marquise over the years, I have found the quality is as good as anything from Europe or Asia ! The Ride is spectacular, the layout is Simple and the comfort is UNBEATABLE! Your Grandparents were right on when it come to this automobile!!!!Feb 01, 2023

The 2001 Mercury is by far a great car, I had one and loved it, however, the particular car I went to check out wasnt one of the tops, needs engine work for the most part, cosmetically it was about a 7 out if 10.Feb 15, 2021

love the car just little qurks but they can be fixed. great car for traveleing or just riding around town. also use it to work out of it for my side job. even use it during hunting seson as my hunting truck.Aug 13, 2014

I really love the big green monster we call Shrek, but I paid too much for it through J.D. Byrider who charged about twice blue book value plus very high interest rates and have had tons of repairs in excess of $3000 in just over 3 years. Still, it is a beautiful and powerful machine with plenty of cargo space and head and leg room. Even as old as it is, the rust is very minimal and it still looks great when it's freshly washed. The brakes feel a little mushy compared to newer cars and it is harder to park because of its size, but it is a still a luxury car with a big (okay, my husband says medium!) V8 and best when you're on the open highway. We love taking road trips in Shrek. We did recently have to replace the rear differential seal gasket, but are still going strong over 104,000 miles.Apr 15, 2014

To be honest I didnt drive the car enough to get a good review. Though in the time I did drive it I did take some advantage of the 305HP V8 though for a car of its size it a bit baughed down. Especially to the 2011 Camaro I drove. Handling was fairly slugish as well when compaired to the Firebird and Camaro. However I wont lie it felt kind of cool to drive a car that looked like a police interceptor. Nov 03, 2011

she works real good i can whip power turns and do figure 8s. duals sound great
with the straight pipes in them . windows are tinted for privacy. all around i love

4.6 Ford Modular 4-speed on the tree (unlike Maurauder) leaving extra room for the HUGE leather seats. Huge rear seats that are... huge. and the trunk is huge too. Jan 09, 2008

I'm wondering where this white wire goes. I have an issue with the battery not charging while running. It can hold a charge but when it's used, that's it. This wire being the way it is, seems to be the obvious culprit though I won't pretend like I know much about electrical things in cars. I just can't seem to find where it goes. I don't see the other end anywhere.
