Car door won’t open from inside or outside
My car was towed, no my front passenger door won’t open from inside or outside. But it shakes while I’m driving like it’s not closed all the way. What can I do to fix this problem?

Essentially a carry-over from the previous year, the 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis is a six-passenger, rear-wheel-drive sedan availabe in entry-level GS and better-equipped LS models. Power for both models is provided by a 4.6-liter V8 engine that produces 224 horsepower. The flexible-fuel engine can be configured for either gas or E85 ethanol fuel. A four-speed automatic transmission is standard.
The 2008 Grand Marquis is equipped with a wide range of standard features, including four-wheel anti-lock brakes, a fail-safe engine cooling system, side-intrusion door beams, a tire pressure monitoring system, a SecuriLock anti-theft ignition system, and a Personal Safety System for the driver and passenger that includes dual-stage front airbags and safety belt energy management retractors.
Other standard features include air conditioning, power windows, mirrors, and door locks, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a tilt steering wheel with cruise control, 16-inch wheels with chromed covers, and an AM/FM stereo system with a CD player.

I wasnt on the market to buy a car but on my way to buy flour at a grocery store I saw a beautiful 2008 mercury marquis THE GRAND. I stopped and called the number I bought 5 days later. It 0nly has 114,000.00 on it. Its been driven by the one owner the original owner and babied, well taken car of, garage kept in michigan. She is 88 years old. She bought another one in fact 2010 with only 60,000.00 miles on it. The ride is so similair to my chrysler LHS luxury car I bought in 2000 they only made a few years of this model. Back to the marquis I love the ride in this car and the solid sound of the motor, On the freeway it rides like a cruise ship. I suspect I wont have any problems on it.. Its a used car so you never know what could be wrong with it despite what the car fax says. Couldnt pass it up for the price and the low mileage and I wasnt disappointed. I used to have a 1996 model so I already knew what a comfortable riding car it is and this one is just as good.
A great car for long distance rides. Couldnt be happier. I found a gem.
I imagine it is similar to a Crown Victoria or a Lincoln for a comfortable ride.Aug 21, 2023

This smooth-riding, dependable sedan is the best luxury ride for the money. According to the driving computer, we're getting 26 MPG, not bad for a V-8. The 4.6 L engine is a proven workhorse, too. I like that it's rear-wheel drive because of its size and weight. Very nice driving car!Jan 25, 2009

I just bought a used 2008 mercury grand marquis (palm beach model). the odometer is in km not miles. The digital speed read out is in Km/h. I can't find the reset button. There are 4 buttons below the gauges in the middle of the dash board. They are labeled, info, reset etc. Help

Dash lights and gages work intermittently
I have a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis. The dash lights and gages turn off and on randomly. I haven’t noticed any pattern as to when or why the turn off and on. All headlight and signal lights always work. The radio stays on. Loose wire? Short? I have no idea what it is.
