5.9L Cummins ISB diesel Ram 2500. What more needs to be said? After some (necessary) fueling upgrades including an aftermarket lift pump and fuel injection pump, she ran like a top forever. With a high-end programmer, she made an insane amount of power for an older truck.Dec 05, 2013

I bought my tuck from my dad who in turn bought it when he lived Florida. I think I am the only owner in the entire Pac NW who owns a 3/4 ton 2wl dr. With that being said, the truck is great until it gets stuck. Then its as useless as tits on a boar.Aug 31, 2012

This has been a fantastic truck. 11 years and 165,000 miles later it still fires up every time just like it did when it was new. Other than an injection pump at about 130,000 miles it has only needed fule, oil and tires. For a truck of its year, even though it isnt rated but about 8,000lbs i think, it has enough power to go around and It can move more than its rating.Jun 28, 2012

maintenance just set of new tires, I beleive dodge is one of the top performance
trucks to be built today , theres no where me an my dodge can t go . off road is
awsome but we travel down the road just fine too,my interior is plain an the

The truck has 113,xxx miles on it and runs great. The acceleration is awesome, 0-60 in 7 seconds flat. Has a six speed, 5.9 cummins. I have done a good bit of work to it including a 4 inch magnaflow exhaust system, FASS fuel system, custom intake, and a edge juice with attitude cts. Dec 29, 2010

I love the preformance on it with a messed up trans. it rattles cuz of my 24v cummins. the gas mileage is any where from 14- 18 miles to the gallon here on ohau which is a lot better than a gas V-8. Sep 28, 2010

I dislike the rust that forms when the truck gets old. Long lasting, lots of miles on
the truck and still rolling. Gets good fuel mileage loaded or empty. I wish I had a

You cant beat that Cummins! Ours has a 5.9 litre Cummins
6C inline turbo diesel, with a mid range rear end and the SLT
Laramie Package, great hi-way fuel mileage, and power power
POWER!! Its a beast! With new tires 1000 kms ago it is a rip
snorter going up hills with the same RPMs as going down em,
but the weird thing about ours is that it is a 2wd diesel, it was
used for towing a lot we suspect. It is well worth you money!!
The interior is so nice enough for my 6ft frame in the
extended cab and has the same great easy to use controls as

Big burly dependable ride, which fits my personality, and packs the punch when required. Being diesel and manual transmission the mileage is quite acceptable for such a heavy vehicle. Towing capacity, and carrying capacity both exceed what is needed (Which is good). Reliability of mechanical parts is quite acceptable, no unexpected breakdowns so far. My truck is a 2001 Ram 2500 with the 8 liter V10 powerplant. It also has a 5 speed manual transmission coupled to the beast. This truck hauls and tows very nicely and I rarely need to downshift on hills. Gas mileage is as expected with a V10. Not so great. I get about 9 MPG in town and about 14 on the highway.

Appearance-Its Awsome it has Red Flames Runnin Down the side With Dodge Written all over it and a big dodge Ram Decal on the Hood.
Cost Of Ownership- Its Decent it gets about 21MPG and about 15 when were Towin a trailer and about 12 when were towin any Heavy Trailers.

Speedo/odometer don't work
When getting an emissions inspection was throwing a P0500 code (speed sensor). Changed the speed sensor on the transmission, continuity tested good between the speed sensor connector and pins 25 & 28 on the ECM harness, stuck a screwdriver in the sensor hole and the ring wasn't loose, brother hooked up a code reader and saw no data stream for MPH, installed a programmed ECM from Autozone - speedo still doesn't work. Hooked up a code reader I bought and it shows no output for MPH. I'm stumped.

Not getting fuel from injector pump to motor
Have a 2001 dodge ram Cummins 2500 diesel and after changing fuel filter, lift pump, fuel injectors, and fuel relays etc. I'm getting fuel up thru lift pump and to fuel injector pump but can't get any from the injector pump to the engine so truck will start.....what is the problem any ideas? I do know the pumps are good and working and filter is good also. I've been stuck on this for weeks now and spent way more money than I wanted to. Can someone plz tell me what's wrong with it or how to fix it?! I'm about to set the thing on fire lol

One day it backfired thru intake & stopped running...so i replaced coil & after doing all kinds of tests i jumped the spark plug wires 1 over in the counter clockwise direction on the distributor & it ran but wouldn't idle......have fuel pressure...have spark...have compression...installed new distributor...new cap & new rotor...it ran perfect for 10 minutes then died...so once again i jumped the spark plug wires 1 over in the counter clockwise direction on the distributor & it runs but will not idle again...help me someone please!!!???
