The 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe is a full-size SUV that, despite its pickup-truck platform, drives more like a car than most of the other sport utility vehicles in its class. With a spacious cabin (plenty of headroom and legroom), the '01 Tahoe is great for passengers or cargo.
Three trims were offered for the 2001 Chevy Tahoe: a base model, the LS, and the luxury LT. All trims were available in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive; that makes the 2001 Tahoe a great choice for off-road adventures as well as sturdy family transportation.

I have owned this car for 6 years. Runs really well. 3rd seat. Very Very clean looks new inside and out. I am only selling it to get a Suburban, no other reason. Well taken care of. Just had a tune up and serviced. Has 3 t.v.s with dvd player, mp3, ipod hook ups. Tinted windows. I have loved this car!!
October 19, 2011Have owned the car for 6 years and now have 220,000 miles on the engine. Still running strong. I owned a 1997 Tahoe before this one and like the way that one handled better. More truck like, this Tahoe is more boat like. I would buy a Tahoe again, but would want the 3rd row.
February 11, 2015Love this truck, very reliable, and never lacking the power or comfort, great gas mileage on long trips not so great in town. One of my all time favorite vehicles, this is the 2nd I've owned and am sure one day to get another.

May 2, 2015Loved the moonroof, leather seats, climate control and traction for rainy weather. CD player, cassette player center consol glove box towing package moonroof and armrest . Backseat cd and radio player capabilities for that long road trip. Head phone capabilities also
November 15, 2013I love my truck. It gets me were I want to go. It performs very good on road and off. The only thing that has gone wrong is the the transmission went out on me. The outside looks cool with the black paint, grill and extended fenders. Inside is a little worn but in overall good shape and roomy. It gets about 14 mpg and I use synthetic oil in the engine so its a little more expensive but I change it myself. The truck is fun to drive.

October 31, 2007Its pretty much a perfect vehicle for my needs. it hauls 5 comfortably. it pulls trailers with ease, and if you fold down the seats you've got tons of space inside. i enjoy driving my truck, its a pleasure in the snow. its thirsty but it works for me. Its easy to work on and never gets stuck.

May 14, 2008It is great in the snow, it handles Great. It drives smooth, it is actually pretty good on gas. I would Highly recommend to anybody . as amatter of fact a friend like mind so much she went and brought herself one.
January 5, 2008I have had my 2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L 2WD for about 3 years now. Had 50,000 mi. on it when i bought it. (For substantially more than it is currently worth) I have had nothing but success with this vehicle thus far. Very basic maintenance practices aside I have had 0 problems. Until today.
