2000 Toyota RAV4 accelerates slow
I have a 2000 Toyota RAV4 and when I turn it on in the morning I have to press the gas to keep it on or else it turns off. Then when I’m driving it’s slow to accelerate and won’t pass 3000 rpms.

The 2000 Toyota Rav4 maintained its popularity as Toyota's entry into the small SUV market. No longer available as a soft-top, drivers must decide between a 2- or 4-door hard top with 2- or 4-wheel drive. Many reviewers recommend getting the AWD, citing the lack of grip in the 2-wheel.
Many have complained that the car is too small to comfortably seat four adults, and certainly small for four adults with luggage. However, it is a great SUV for a couple or couple with children. Mileage is great at about 26 averaged between city and highway.

I sold this vehicle for a friend who passed. Drove it for about 2 months. Very reliable, good on gas, comfortable, and fun driving a Manual again. NO backseat room unless front seats are adjusted for a midget driver and passenger.Nov 16, 2014

Too short in back to sleep in for 6'-3" person.
Best vehicle ever owned in 50 years of driving.... including Audi, VW, Ford, Chevy, 4Runners
Exceptional handling on hiway and off....will go up steep freeway grade like PHX to Flagstaff at 80mph in 4th gear.
Gets 26mpg at average 65mph on freeway....22mpg in town.

Good car with all wheel drive with the snow and rain. Run good fast enough to go the size is 2.0 engine with around 27 on city/hwy. Only problem small area my leg that where the panel gas will get sore but is okay. I am getting use it. because only way to save our gas.Oct 04, 2008

The seat is small but it okay to fit in and have some room. What I don't like is my foot to push the panel on gas getting sore but it okay need more room for my leg for where the gas panel is. This RAV4 has a good gas mileages in around 27 standard city/hwy. What I like very mush is all wheel drive that best on snow and heavy rain, nice ride and also nice with high wind is pretty good still run and it had do with shape body car. So far I like it so better get a brand new 2008 that one very nice and lot of room. I recommend buy a new or use on RAV4.Oct 04, 2008

This is actually Rosa's ride. It has been extremely reliable and a great all-around vehicle. The AWD is great for heading up the local mountains and it has been very versatile with the addition of our son in 2006.Jan 10, 2008

In the beaches sand, is THE KING. The services are not so expensives, High, enough his 150 HP to overtake other car , great space also in the rear part of the car, enough to take my 2 teenager's children with all their Hockey stuff !! 10 km/liter premium full on road, and 7-8 km/l in the city.
