the car is ok, if you dont have to replace the fuel pump, c/v axle, and do a transmission flush all at the same time, its wonderful, and beleive it or not it can drift, and has a lot of giddy up

I like the room in the trunk and the cheap parts. The custom parts is one thing I can never find and I hate that it has no power. It handles ok an is not bad around corners but there is no power. You floor it and nothing happens. This car is not the worst I have drove but is defiantly not the best.Jul 31, 2011

one of the best compact cars available, very dependable but lacks power for the experienced driver, great first car, easily modded, great gas mileage and surprisingly fun to drive. i would recommend this car to anyone looking for a good dependable American made car.Jun 14, 2011

$2000 & purple she has 199xxx miles on her the sunroof and fuses needs
fix overall she is a good
car she takes u were u need to go i replace the radiator the timing belt
the water pump and hoses the oil sending unit and the motor in this car

The performance on this car was great, i never had to replace the little things like brakes and whatnot. The appearance was awesome, it was red with a black front bumper, i couldn't see it any other way. It got good gas mileage 30+. Mine had a problem with starting when the weather was cold, which isn't very good for living in MN. I sure miss driving it though. I loved that little car.Aug 03, 2009

its way too heavy for the motor that is in it. its not as fast as its previous generations or as fast as the future generations, like the sxt or srt-4. but if u put some love and care into it like u need to with other cars, like a turbo, or supercharger and a lightweight body kit shell giddy up and go witht the best of them!Jul 24, 2009

Definately NOT built for comfort, but it gets me from point A to point B.
Interior/exterior are not a problem.
Good gas mileage.
Handles well - especially on the back roads where the potholes are abundant...
Thinking about passing this one on to my teenage daughter. It would be perfect for her.Jan 23, 2009

i loved that car...completely under rated. people would look at it and be like oh, it's a neon then they would ride in it and be like omg! of course it did not hurt that mine was a 5sp dual overhead cam neon ;-) my ex special ordered it for me, and it was a fast little toy....a rollerskate, with a rocket engine he always said ;-)Jun 13, 2008

2000 plymouth neon
I have a 2000 plymouth neon with a 4th cylinder misfire. So far I have changed valve cover, plug wires as well as plug. I have checked compression 3rd was a little off but 4th cylinder was way low. After changing value cover my plugs have been oil free and clean. I checked all oils as well they are clean. I am running out of ressons out side of the thought of having a blown piston and am hoping for the best. This is my only car and I need it for a while.
