99 plymouth neon band adjustment
I just bought this 99 ply neon I want to change the tranny filter and fluid. I also want to adjust the bands but don't know the last time they was or if they ever have been

too low not enough power not a v8 and not 4wd i wish it had a big 502 bb in it with 44 supoer swampers under it. well at least i can have a stupid imagenation. and yes i cant spell.Apr 05, 2010

This car was ok at first, but after a while, everything seemed to be failing apart. The transmission was the first to start showing signs of failure, every time it shifted into 2nd gear it would rev high then drop into gear. After about 5 thousand miles it didn't want to shift at all. Then after the wheel bearings went out, i was lucky to get rid of it for $250 Sep 09, 2009

yes its a neon and but its the only small car in its class to pull 1g from off the line it is really a fun car to drive with all the torque that it has WARNING! MAY CONSUME HONDAs @ RANDOMAug 12, 2009

this car isnt bad its got dual overhead cams and a very reliable motor, as far as defects go, well it aint built for a fat guy hence the name coupe duh, but i havent had any problems with the car that i havent inflicted myself, its a 2.0 ltr so gas milage is great tho not as good as the single overhead cam, id love for it to be a five speed but i can settle for an automatic but overall its a fun car to drive, the brakes arent the greatist(maybe bc it has over 140 thousand miles on it

Great gas saver 40 to fill up and gets 335 miles to the fill... I enjoy the saving on the gas but do miss the room but the drive is smooth. I love this car because it is built with quality and made for demands and gets me to and from work easily and I am not broke at the end of the week. I wouldnt reccomend this car to a family of 6 but for a small family of 5 or less it would be a great way to travel less espensive.Aug 12, 2008

the car is very common and has an unappealing and unoriginal exterior, but very sleek and inviting interior. It has very sluggish and dull performance in town, but prooves champion in fuel mileage for a '99. Would be a good family car or daily driver.Apr 01, 2008

it got drove threw a couple flooded spots on the road and the belt started sqeaking alot and finally the motor lost power about a day later now when I start it it idles at about 500 rpm and if I touch the gas peddle at all it dies any suggestions on what it could be
