1999 Dodge RAM 2500 Reviews, Pricing & Specs

This has been a great truck for daily driving and also long hauling race cars and my race trailer around the country. It has 117k on and still runing very strong. If and when I replace it I will buy another one just like it.

awesome truck... the cummins is unbeatable. it pulls awesome. torque is outstanding. even decently quick off the line with just a 4" turbo back exhaust and a drop in k&n filter. i liked my half ton but this is amazing.

I loved this truck. Some day I will get another one. A six speed manual 2001 next time. Maybe even the same color. but definatley do the same modifications and upgrades. It was fun to drive and hauled like a champ

Best all around off road vehicle it's long wheel base alone if you take it easy off road it's hard to get into a situation you can't back out of. The Dana posi traction diffs. coupled with 8 lug wheels says Heavy Duty!

Well done truck, DANA axles front and rear, bad steering lot of issue, tranny is not the best w the torque of a diesel, good quality interior, nice on long trips. I think these trucks can run million miles w good and regular mintenance.

Acceleration is decent, Brakes are soft and slow to come to a hault but thats the nature of a large truck, steering has some play to it but you begin to get used to it. The V10 Magnum is suprisingly Fuel efficent. The truck is fun to drive but corinering and the suspention are some of its faults

This was an amazing vehicle. It appeared in great condition for its age. But the price of it was almost double the value. Almost triple what lenders want to give. I suspect if you have money to throw around it would be a great truck.

*loud cus its a diesel *fuel efficient - manual trans. *diesels are known to eat brakes and clutches *gets 19-21mpg both city and highway *low on HP but HIGH on torque - could probly pull a doublewide *can easly squeeze 350-400k miles outta a Cummins *basicaly a tractor trailer in a smaller package

Great all around truck, does the job and its fun to drive. i put a thrush glasspack muffler on it and it sounds nice, mellow when accelerating like normal but aggressive when you mash on the gas. Hauled a 12k load good.

Can pull your house down. Dodge ram 2500 4wd Cummins diesel, best diesel ever made. i can tow anthing and crush any little toyota in. its alot of fun to drive and is extremly loud you can the truck from a mile away.
