Very reliable. Braking and handling is good. Great gas efficiency. Easy to maintain with low cost. Fun to drive. I feel safe and in control driving it. A comfortable car. I owned it for more than 6 years, and would like to buy a new Nissan Sentra. Jan 03, 2012

Very tunable, and with minor modifications, it handles like a dream. Performance was meager but adequate with the 1.6L motor, but fuel economy made up for the lack of zip. With the SR20DET however, it is simply a blast to drive! Please note that my categorized ratings are for the stock vehicle, *not* my highly modified one.Nov 21, 2010

sencillo, muy economico y con relacion peso potencia esta bueno, pa ser un auto comun y corriente sin ninguna modificacion.
lo uso de vez en cuando para hacer unos piques contra latas del mismo calibre jajaja

too slow, speakers suck, suspension is waaay too loose. very cheap to drive because gets great mpgs. fair amount breaks often though. wires arent very durable and can be easily broken . clutch is horrible. heats up fast and gets very sticky.Jun 23, 2009

Transmission pooped on me, car is now nonoperational =[
And on top of that a few days before my birthday my car was broken in to, they broke my window, stole 500 worth of stuff, including my dual 12 inch sub woofers in a box, my stereo face plate, and some other things. NOT COOL =[
Oh well was a nice car, now collecting dust till I sell it OR find a deal on a junkyard Sentra's transmission or, find cheap way to fix it or swap it out. HELP ! ? Message me if you live near San Diego and can help, new transmission or of junkyard, or someone that can swap em out. Thanks =]May 13, 2009

I just previously bought this car.
It has a few dents, but it looks like a wellkept car, I feel safe in it.
The handling is really great, easy around corners and curves. The brakes were just replaced so its pretty easy on the brakes. Acceleration isn't that great, it's just a get around car, not a get up and go car.
Fun to drive!

The engine feels a little taxed, even with manual transmission. The handling is ok. Reliability is very good, but interior build quality is cheap, it is after all, an inexpensive car. One of the biggest pros is the gas mileage. Only $40 to fill up, and almost 30 mpg city. Overall, it is fun to drive, especially in manual.Jul 31, 2008

Performance is alright for a 4 banger. It needs a few minor repairs to the body (dumass ran into it with a golf cart). No AC and it has an oil leak, love the exterior color! It's my little Green Dragon!Jul 10, 2008

I've owned this one since new, other than regular oil changes, it's had an oil seal, starter, exhaust work, brakes & just recently the wipers need a new transmittion. Not a bad record for a ten year old car.
Super on gas.
The body is starting to go around the rear fenders & I have well over 250.000km & it still runs great.l

Alternator & battery
My battery, alternator and cables are all new but my battery is still not holding a charge. My lights go dim, battery and brake light turns on and when the battery is dying , the brake light starts flashing and the speedometer stops moving and stops reading how many miles I've driven and how fast I'm going. Can somebody please help and tell me what to do next (besides buy a new car). I'd really appreciate it.

Car keeps stalling/dying. Not the fuel Pump or fuel filter. ??
Car is Nissan Sentra/Pulsar 1998 Manual. With a GA15DNE Engine Here are some more clues. 1. It restarts fine after it stalls, sometimes have to wait 3-10 seconds before it works. Key must be physically removed from the key hole for some reason 2. Typically Hills set it off, though can happen While slowing down, turning a sharp corner, changing gears, Driving at a moderate constant speed even just coasting downhill in neutral. 3. Usually runs fine initially and after 5 to 20 minutes of driving can start stalling. after the first stall it gradually gets worse and worse for the duration of the trip.If I Leave car for approx 30 minutes (time to cool down?) will work fine for another while before it starts stalling frequently again. 4. Once the snowball effect of vehicle stalling has started, Will often rev very high but not get much acceleration. This problem doesn't exist at the start of my day to day trips, only once it starts stalling frequently. 5. Here are parts I've replaced. Oil + Filter Air Filter Fuel Filter Fuel Pump Spark plugs Distributor cap 1 HT lead (had a bit of gunk and rust in the connection point) 6. Potential Remedies (so i would think) Replace sensors ie (crankshaft position sensor, throttle position sensor or oxygen sensor) Electrical Issues ie (bad ECU) Distributor problems ie (rotor and HT Leads) though it does arc on all 4 connection points if i partially pull them out while the engine is running Clogged Fuel injectors or fuel line (Use a complete fuel system cleaner additive) -Any advice/opinions/experience on anything of the above would be much appreciated!

after I have let my car run for 20 minutes and I turn it off after the radiator is ran all the water out it smokes and I can see where the smoke is coming from for the steam is that where the crack is
My engine won't keep liquid in it it pretty much pours out so I'm doing a head gasket fix with bars leaks block seal
