I bought it on October 1. Its been perfect. Got a great deal and was very pleased with the dealership. The car could have been detailed and cleaned inside better as all used cars should be when buying from a dealership direct. But other than that it was a great purchase. Oct 05, 2021

I like that it has tons of room! I don't like that seats are not same, I.e., power, leather. Only driver side is! Kinda weird but I guess the driver should be the most comfortable, eh? This car has help up remarkably well over the years. I bought it used (had 1 prior owner) and have not regretted this purchase.Aug 19, 2012

The C280's engine is pretty awesome in a car this size. Feels like the
perfect fit for a mid-size sedan. My sense is that the 320 is hardly

high cost in fuel, so cheep to insure, drives like dream. can be slid round any corner, performes better than any hot hatch, the trim on the elegance is second to none, for a lrge car it can be raced.May 21, 2010

This car is one of a compact type of Mercedes Benz.
Although smaller than E Class type it still a luxury Mercedes
Benz.
It has 2000CC 4 cylinder engine which I think is less powerful
for its moderate heavy body.
This car is very fun to drive, the size is compact, and of

Build Quality is some of the best that I have ever seen. Car now has 300k without ANY major repairs only maintainance. Drives like it is brand new. Accelleration is very good for a big 4cyl, cost of ownership is actually very low and. Its a very relaxing car to drive. I think if I were to throw the Kompressor kit on it I would get into a little more trouble with it hahaha.Dec 04, 2009

C'est un excellent véhicule Qui se conduit très bien. C'est un 6 cylindres agréable à conduire. L'intérieur est Comme neuf. Il a un Système de son BOSE. L'extérieur est de couleur vert foncé et N'a Aucune rouille. Il est équipé complétement (air, vitres et portes électrique, miroirs électrique etc...)Dec 01, 2009

You don't realise how good those germans are at putting together a decent car until you have spent some quality time behid the wheel of a Merc... at 12 years old it should rattle and squeak but it's still tight as a drum !!!!Aug 28, 2009

Throttle lag sucks but can be fixed with a powerchip...
I6 @ 190hp seems a little underpowered for any car, but
the car feels like it pulls throughout the powerband...
Had to replace engine wiring harness after about 60k
miles.

there is nothing wrong with it . its sporty fun and comfy,

Parts are expensive but the quality seems to justify the price. The car has been rock solid and delivers pretty ggood gas milage for the pull that it has.Over all I would recomend this car if your prepared to spend the money on the parts cost.Feb 05, 2009

The Mercedes-Benz C280 Sport is a great overall car. It has ample power (Est.200bhp) and plenty of speed. The Bilstein shocks and additional anti-roll bars in the sport package allow the car to handle incredibly well. The interior is also very comfortable and stylish with 10-way power seats, perforated leather upholstery, 8-speaker Bose sound system, and corbon fibre trim. It is a very well built car seeing as it is a Mercedes-Benz. I have had a few mechanical issues so far, and repairs ranged from $300-$1,200. Very expensive, but a great buy overall.Dec 13, 2008

Biggest problem I have with the car would have to be the maintenance costs but there are ways around it. Definitely enjoy driving it around and the looks I get with it. Car drives great for a four cylinder but I would still like more power from under the hood.Aug 31, 2008

Its my dads car, but he cant drive it anymore, it is so quiet when you drive it compared to my volkswagen, german cars are just better than the rest of it. The only car I have driven that is better is the Jaguar... Maybe I should try a newer one...Aug 07, 2008

This was my next purchase after a BMW 535i 1993. A 4 cylinder 2.3 engine can compare to BMW's 3.5 6 cylinder in-line, but besides hp, it stands toe-to-toe with the 535i. This was a few years before Chrysler bought Benz and before C230s started having electrical problems that could never seem to be fixed so I haven't had any costly problems yet with it. Changed the brakes for almost half of the market prices for Mercedes parts. After all, brakes are brakes. I don't think you need to pay extra for the same quality just because it comes with a Benz logo. Overall, great gas mileage, inexpensive to maintain because it never broke, shares the tie for my most enjoyable car buy with the BMW.Jan 08, 2008

1997 Class-C Mercedes Benz - Engine problems?
The car will start shaking because of the engine and the check engine light will turn on. When I turn it off and turn it on again, it's fine, but I took it in to the dealer's and they said it was bad gas. I put plus gas into the car already. And it's continuing to shake randomly. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
