This was one of the first vehicles I drove when I got my license. It is strong, reliable and comfy. Now its not fuel efficient by any means and the parts are a bit pricey, but overall it is a great and underrated SUV. Love it and I always will!Feb 01, 2010

My car's name is the Isuzu Bighorn (japanese variant of Isuszu trooper). We have it for 12 years now since we purchased it at a showroom in Tokyo Japan and she's still going strong. The vehicle's mileage is well over 250,000 km and the engine itself has not failed. The car's 3.1 Intercooler turbo diesel is a real gem. It give the car's mind-blowing acceleration but it is not really built for speed. It is an excellent cruiser designed to eat up miles.
The only downside is that aftermarket support is very little and our country's main dealership almost never have spares availableJul 17, 2009

Why does my AC blow cold sometimes and does not others?
Just recently my compressor starting acting up. I had the freon topped off earlier this year and this week the compressor started to sporadically turn off or delay coming on. This morning I drove for about 10 minutes when it finaly kicked on, all the while the blower is working blowing warm air. When it's running it blows cold at about 40F, I keep a temp gauge in the air vent. I had the entire system replaced about 6 or 7 years ago with all original equipments Isuzu parts.
