it uses alot if gas, after 100,000 miles use 10-30 motor oil, chevy malibus once they reach 100,000 miles it needs new ball joints and new tune up no matter when u did it, because of was computer was programmed,Aug 09, 2013

The air condition knob is broken so level 1-2 does not work. i like the fact that it is great on gas, maintenance cost is low, very low milege, and is a smooth ride. Inlcedes spare tire in trunk.Dec 03, 2011

This was my first real car, and I loved it at the time. It handled the road excellently. The only real problem the car ever had was that the interior was a little cramped, but that stands to reason since I am 6'5".Jul 15, 2010

This car was terrible. Everything that broke took forever to find to fix it, then was impossible to fix afterall. But why bother fixing it? something else is gonna break next week anyway. The only good thing about this car, it caught fire but was still able to drive away the day I sold it.Oct 27, 2009

nice interior, good gas mileage easy to keep clean, very nice big back seat ha ha good braking and handling decent acceleration never needed repairs. very little maintenance needed at all was fun to go out with friends in, and a good car to hide booze in Oct 13, 2009

gets me where i need to go cheaply. Its been very reliable. The brakes on it suck, but its pretty snappy for a 12 year old 3.1L V6. Parts are cheap and readily available. and its easy to work onSep 23, 2009

For the money, you cant go wrong, they have plenty of power, good on gas, roomy enough, descent trunk space, and a nice sound system. power seats, locks, and windows, you gotta love it. they drive nice, handle nice, and are comfortable. but you cant really beat on them or you'll probably throw a rod.Aug 22, 2008

I bought this car after a bad experience with a Dodge Neon. At the time, I just needed something to drive around. In fact, the original plan was to pay it off and sell it to my parents, as my mom had a Malibu as her first car. So she picked the color and options for the most part. I sold it to them before buying my Cobalt, and recently, they traded it in for a minivan, so I don't know where this car is anymore.Mar 06, 2008
